I think we all need to calm down here, PMDG are working, we will find out when it goes into BETA testing, and okay, we may have been told that it was supposed to come out in 2010 but thats come and gone and there is no use complaining about it. They are working on it, finishing it up, preparing it and in all fairness, they're being fairly open about it. Every last one of us here knows about what the story is and it would be great if it came out today or tomorrow, but this is life an all of you are really starting to sound like kids, if it take another 6 weeks to get to beta and a further 6 weeks after that then thats only 12 weeks, its not years away.We complain about not getting screenshots and updates then we complain again when do get them saying that meerly teasing us. You cannot have your cake and eat it. We've all seen how great it will be so just wait, good things come to those who wait, ect... When you buy PMDG your getting top notch Flight Sim software, thats why it costs so much compared to others, thats what PMDG is and thats why we all want it. By all means if they release this product now, it wont be finished and up to the standard that we expect of PMDG, you might as well go out and buy the iFly or Ariane 737 now if that is what you want. They are fin simulations of the 737 but if you want the best, like that which PMDG offer you have to wait. And if you just can't wait, go learn something about the 737, ask questions about how it is operated in the real world, there are plenty of us real world pilots that would be happy to answer your questions if we can. Go to websites and read about it, test yourself on your knowledge of the 737 on websites such as www.smartcockpit.com. I find the tests there great to keep you on your feet. No one likes waiting but make the best of it...So lets have a little constuctive critisism here, and move away from the childish bickering and "GIMME GIMME" attitude that has seemed to have gripped this forum for the past 3 months...

We have waited two + years PATIENTLY, then they start releasing videos and pictures and tell us quote: " Dont go on any short term vacations, you wouldn't want to miss the release date" (remind me how long ago this was said?) ------and got us excited only to be sincerely disappointed. I have not seen, in this thread at least, any "GIMME GIMME" attitude. Quite the opposite, in fact. The time of "GIMME" has passed, now the dissapointment and resignation of PMDG not being straight with us is settling in.An analogy that came to my head: A man puts a doggy treat on a string and hold is high above the dogs head. The dog eagerly awaits that treat, patiently waits for the owner to put it down, he slowly starts lowering it, and the dog gets excited thinking he'll get it, and then the man suddenly jerks on the string and pulls the treat up, laughing. The dog goes back, eagerly waiting, looking at the treat and waiting for the master to put it down. He does it again, this time closer to the dog, and pulls it back up. It goes on and on and on. Just when the 'Owner' is about to give us the 'Doggie Treat', he jerks it away from the 'Dog'.Except Humans are smarter than dogs and won't just sit there patiently forever and play the game.Karan

There has been no official announcment, but it's common sense really.No developer is going to release a video of their product just before the release. If they release the video, it will be a few months before the release, like a movie trailer, or any bit of software really. Windows have their promos 6 months before release, movie trailers are shown a few months before release, and a few FS developers themselves make videos a few months before release.PMDG are like any other company, I don't see how it would be any different. It doesn't make sense to release videos UNLESS there is still a few months until release. That is what I can get out of this.I may be completely wrong, but given my experiences with many other companies, that's how it usually works.Karan

IMHO, I think some of you need to get a life, whether you buy one or steel one, a life must be acquired. I understand that flight sim is a huge hobby of ours, but you can't sit there and ridicule a company because they aren't updating you on a virtual add-on. It's not like you're a terminally ill patient (god forbid) that needs a certain drug that will save your life and are waiting for the pharmaceutical company to produce said drug. This is FLIGHT SIM. Just chill out and let PMDG do there thing. We all know VERY WELL that the end will justify the means, anyway. Besides, I am sure everyone has more important things to do with there time than rant about a virtual add-on developer, granted an excellent one.

Not wrong, but i could imagine that it behaves in an other way here. Just think a little bit...To produce a video (maybe takeoff sequence or sth like that) you have to play the game. Now they told us they will do some videos. So they play the game... (And now comes the clue...) In which stage of development they play the game the whole day .... ;)Could be a wrong idea but this is what i thought when i read Ryans post.

There are plenty of PMDG products already out there. No one can say they are 100% on all of their aircraft. We have waited 2 years, and I'm sure when the 737 drops people will say,"where's my triple seven". Relax spring is here!
