May 29, 201115 yr Hey Stephen...I'm still curious how this story ended. Has the dragon been slain? If I may ask, Bob, what motherboard are you using? I've decided to go 1366 to maximize memory bandwidth. I want to get a good board, if I can.Kdub

May 29, 201115 yr Memory bandwidth is better in LGA1155Documentation? Not what I've read, unless you go 2133 MHz, and some can't get there with SB. I see that you are @2133 CL8, but a number of people have told me not to depend on getting there. The reliability of SB is also a question brought up in a number of threads.K

What do you mean by reliabilty of SB? can you please link some of those threads?

I'm going to get that utility and check my Lynnfield. As for reliability, this is what I saw and I'll look for more:http://forum.avsim.net/topic/333529-sandy-bridge-motherboard-experience/
May 30, 201115 yr Dazz, there is a new version (1.57) of MaxxMem.Lower memory latency = better for FSX.
May 30, 201115 yr I was unaware of all of this. A moderately clocked SB might be the way to go. I'm looking into this for sure. My Lynnfield only does a 16685 read with 2000 CL9...but until I got this 2000 the F1 Mustang was full of stutters.Kaydub

May 30, 201115 yr Dazz, there is a new version (1.57) of MaxxMem.Lower memory latency = better for FSX.Do you have a link to this Alan? All I can find is v1.04Edit, actually I looked at Dazz's screenshot again and his CPUZ is v1.57 and MaxMem2 is v1.74 so what I would like to know is how to get the latest version of MaxxMem becuase all I can find a link to is MaxxMem v1.04 and I can not find a link to any version of MaxxMem2.
May 30, 201115 yr At the bottom of MexxMEM utility there is the website link, you just have to click on it.
