May 14, 201115 yr Screenshot was taken at noon on a Saturday. Traffic is at 100% on the UT2 menu and on the FSX menu. Something is CLEARLY wrong. There is barely any traffic. What's going on here? Other international airports are just as barren. Thanks all.
May 14, 201115 yr You probably just need a new ADEX file for your custom scenery...http://www.airportdesigneditor.co.uk/ | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
May 14, 201115 yr Author Hi Ryan,Thanks for the response. I'm very computer illiterate. How can I use that software to fix the problem?
May 14, 201115 yr Moderator Hi Ryan,Thanks for the response. I'm very computer illiterate. How can I use that software to fix the problem? If that's Aerosoft's Paris Charles De Gaulle then your AFCAD/ADE file should be fine. Did you wait a little while for traffic to arrive and depart? Sometimes it takes a little bit for all the traffic to completely spawn and appear.I dont have that airport, but I am going to try with the default Charles De Gaulle and see how much traffic I get at one that day and time. I'll let you know what mine looks like. Dont forget you can always look in the UT2 UI and see a bar graph that shows the busiest time of day for each airport as well as how many arrivals and departures for each hour of the day to compare what you see in the sim. Also if you are missing any repaints and dont have them assigned to anything or dont have the missing paints assigned to the UT2 defaults, it can result in less traffic. May 14, 201115 yr I have sometimes had this problem of no traffic. Try this, deselect all traffic in UT2 interface then click apply. Reselect traffic and click apply, then close UT2 interface and also shutdown FSX. Start FSX again and see what happens.Bryan.
May 14, 201115 yr Moderator Here's a few snaps from mine with the default airport and stock FSX AFCAD. As you can see I have a pretty good amount of traffic, albeit not parked in the correct spots since i'm not using a better ADE, but none the less a lot of traffic for a Sat as the majority of the gates are occupied.I would imagine that the ADE file that came with Aerosoft airport is ok otherwise if the parking codes or radius data was bad a lot of people would be complaining about it. I would venture to say that you probably dont have all the repaints for the airlines that fly there assigned. You can always print out a schedule PDF from the UT2 UI which shows what airline and aircraft fly there, then compare all that data to what you have assigned by sorting each of those airlines and a/c models. I know it sounds like a lot but should only take you 20 minutes or so to check them all. Any missing paints could be assigned from WOAI packages or otherwise something similar. May 14, 201115 yr Did you set your Weekly and GA traffic in the UT2 UI? Even at 50% weekly you should see a large volume of traffic... Check to see there is an entry in your FSX.cfg for Ultimate Traffic 2 which should be under:[Main]SimobjectsPaths.X=simobjects\Ultimate Traffic II (or something very close to it)If it is not there then you haven't initialized traffic. \Robert Hamlich/
May 15, 201115 yr French Air Traffic Controllers must be on strike again. It's as real as it gets. :( Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
May 17, 201115 yr Author I checked the schedule with UT2 with how many aircraft I have at the gates, they all add up. I guess you can have empty scenes like this in CDG sometimes....Thanks all for your help, especially cmp! Really preciate you taking the time to take the screenshots.
