May 15, 201115 yr Hey PMDG-Team,will it be possible to fly several -Touch and Go's - one after another with the new 737NGX without any CtD?regardsJürgen regards Jürgen
May 15, 201115 yr Why wouldn't it be possible? If you are getting CTDs after doing touch and gos in other aircraft then I would think you have a system problem? Mark Thornton
May 15, 201115 yr Commercial Member I did a dozen touch and gos at Moses Lake the other day in the NGX and a full-weight Rejected Takeoff without reversers, max autobrakes. No problems there at all :-) Brakes were hot though so had to call the fire department to come and cool the brakes :-PCheers, Jason Brown - Exterior Model Engineer,http://www.precisionmanuals.comSpecs: MSI Z97 Gaming 7 | Intel i7 4970K OC @ 4.6GHz | Gigabyte GTX970 G1 4GB | 16GB (2X8GB) G.Skill Trident | Corsair Air 540 White Case | Corsair AX750 750W PSU | 27" Samsung SyncMaster 275T+ | 27" Samsung S27D850 | 13" Wacom Cintiq | Windows 10 Professional x64
May 15, 201115 yr I've done hundreds of touch and go's with the PMDG 737 in FS9 and never had a CTD!?Bert Van Bulck

If so then we really have the real thing. (grin)TomPS: Been there/done that on the real 737's.

(grin)Hopefully it won't cost as much as the real thing to have the brakes and wheels replaced. I've spent too much on this hobby as it is.I wonder if the brakes were worn down to minimums before doing the test. ;) Jason Fiset jasonf on ts3.digitalthemepark.com @jfiset

May 16, 201115 yr Hey PMDG-Team,will it be possible to fly several -Touch and Go's - one after another with the new 737NGX without any CtD?regardsJürgenIf you are seeing CTD's you may need to reinstall FSX , better still, do a clean O/S install and start from scratch.Something is no right with you system.Chris Farrell Chris Farrell
May 16, 201115 yr PMDG MD-11 has a known bug where if you program a flight in the FMS which has the departure the same as arrival it CTD, this is what the OP is referring to I believe. Jay Vorkapic
May 16, 201115 yr Author PMDG MD-11 has a known bug where if you program a flight in the FMS which has the departure the same as arrival it CTD, this is what the OP is referring to I believe.Hey Jay, that is exactly what i mean i hope it will be possible in the NGX!regards Jürgen regards Jürgen
May 16, 201115 yr PMDG MD-11 has a known bug where if you program a flight in the FMS which has the departure the same as arrival it CTD, this is what the OP is referring to I believe. That actually doesn't occur as long as the route is programmed in such a way that it doesn't switch from CLB to DES.
May 16, 201115 yr That actually doesn't occur as long as the route is programmed in such a way that it doesn't switch from CLB to DES.Interesting, from memory I have tried longer flights before that have had a cruise (albeit short and low) cruise period and it still crashed but yeah that probably is the cause. May 16, 201115 yr We all know that the B744 can be a bit heavy on system resources but I've done many touch-n-go's without CTDs... The same goes for my favourite MD11 but that takes a bit of time trying to tame her...
