Why wouldn't it be possible? If you are getting CTDs after doing touch and gos in other aircraft then I would think you have a system problem?

I very much doubt that the NGX has any CDT's this is top quality simulation.

I did a dozen touch and gos at Moses Lake the other day in the NGX and a full-weight Rejected Takeoff without reversers, max autobrakes.No problems there at all :-) Brakes were hot though so had to call the fire department to come and cool the brakes :-PCheers,

Hopefully it won't cost as much as the real thing to have the brakes and wheels replaced. I've spent too much on this hobby as it is.I wonder if the brakes were worn down to minimums before doing the test. ;)

Has PMDG simulated smoke coming from the brakes under those circumstances?

If you are seeing CTD's you may need to reinstall FSX , better still, do a clean O/S install and start from scratch.Something is no right with you system.Chris Farrell

PMDG MD-11 has a known bug where if you program a flight in the FMS which has the departure the same as arrival it CTD, this is what the OP is referring to I believe.

That actually doesn't occur as long as the route is programmed in such a way that it doesn't switch from CLB to DES.

Interesting, from memory I have tried longer flights before that have had a cruise (albeit short and low) cruise period and it still crashed but yeah that probably is the cause.

We all know that the B744 can be a bit heavy on system resources but I've done many touch-n-go's without CTDs... The same goes for my favourite MD11 but that takes a bit of time trying to tame her...
