Very interesting indeed.. That would be the biggest surprise of the year, considering Aerosoft has denied any efforts in the U.A.E. area..Will sign up for updates..

I wouldn't read too much into that link since some sites post things like that all the time. In fact some other unknown site has been avertising the PMDG 737 NGX for like a year and a half and keep moving the release date up every 6 months.BUT, if its true it could be the FlyTampa version that they have said they are/would consider redoing. I doubt it's actually Aerosoft making it since they have said they can get access to the airport, which is fine by me because the FlyTampa version will probably perform better than what Aerosoft would make anyway.

I posted this over at the FT forums. No denial yet :( I do recall Martin saying he was considering it.

FlyTampa already acknowledged a while ago that they would probably remake Dubai at some point. I guess this means that it's at some state of completion.

You never know :-)I wonder why George has started doing some previews of what he is working on (Athens), and Martin always stays in stealth mode and wont say a word about what he is working on. Although I dont blame Martin for not saying a word since 3PD's are cursed these days with people complaining about the choice of airport, when it will be released, why they didn't do X airport, etc. I suppose if I was making something I would rather go the route of not saying a word until release day and skipping all the drama.

Hi Waleed,Taking into account the speed at which Dubai is developing, it would definitely be tough, if not impossible, to cover up the whole city. One would have to regularly keep the airport and the city up to date with updates and that is not an easy task and it's going to get you a serious hit on your FPS. On the other hand, I suppose a part of the area around the airport should be covered. So maybe we'll see that airport tunnel crop up alongside the Emirates Duty Free warehouse ? Who knows! ;)Cheers

Yeah, it would probably kill fps as the city is spread out "lengthwise" along the coast.Can you imagine including Sharjah?At least things slowed down enough over the past two years or so. Seem to be picking up again though.The fs9 version had some extra building on szr, and even included the palm and burj al Arab, so who knows what can happen there.P.S. I just use the new bridge by the police headquarters to get back to AlBarsha every time I pick up or drop off from t2.
