The profile view can be toggled on and off in the settings, maybe you switched it off by mistake.

Cheers, Andy.

The trial version is fully functional, the only restriction being that it is time-limited.Al

Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

Approaches should look like this.approachr.th.jpgAs Andy said, there's a button in the toolbar where you can access this menu.profileview.th.jpgMake sure "Profile view" is enabled, you can also adjust the actual size of it.Alan is right, the trial is unlimited in use and features, only the 30 day limit is active.Would be funny if other things were limited too though. E. g. 'only left turns get drawn' or 'user aircraft must not exceed 60 kts'. Just%20Kidding.gif

Hi CoolP. I had a look for that Profile tab after firing up my Trial Version of Aivlasoft but could not see it anywhere. I searched a high and low and went through all the settings but still did not see that Profile tab. Perhaps you'd be kind enough to point me towards it. I'll send you a screengrab of what I see. Thanks in advance.

Just look at the marked spots on my second screenshot.Go to the approach view, use the red marked field and enable the yellow marked one then. profileview.jpg

Hi CoolP.Thanks for that, but alas,I do not see any of that as you can see from my screengrab. Once I can see this working,I'm going to palce my order. Thanks for your help.

For starters you need to select the approach tab not the departure tab, then you need to press the icon highlighted in red that CoolP pointed out already. In your case you have that set of icon menus on the left hand side of the page not the right. The reason why it is greyed out on your image is that that menu item isn't active on the departure tab, you can only see the approach profile on the approach page obviously.

Cheers, Andy.

Andy does the text, I'll take the pictures. Outcome? Hopefully a good one. :( Go yellow first, then red. Have fun at Liverpool then. Should be easy if you're using that nice UK2000 scenery. But your approach view will show Dublin then. Just select a runway for the approach there and be amazed.thereyougoe.jpg

Using the trial now myself, and I gotta say, despite the high price even with the discount, I'm going to purchase when I get paid tomorrow. Really a cool add-on that works perfectly from my second machine. Good stuff!

Also using the trial mainly because it displays the world as a globe similar to the way FSNavigator did rather than the flat world Mercator projection used by other apps. However not entirely convinced yet, interfacing with the moving map is little clunky compared compared with the click and drag method of Plan-G, and at first it wouldn't import a lot of my FS flightplans complaining that they are not xml files - however these plans load into FSX just fine and also into other flight planners (eg Plan-G, again). But then I remembered that these plans plans were originally created in FSnavigator and saved as *.pln and while they do open OK in FSX I have to tell EFB that they are FS2004 plans for it to accept them. Also you can't insert enroute waypoints into a flightplan by clicking on the moving map with the mouse as you could in FSNavigator and with some FSX flightplanners, but I suppose it works best along side these flight planning apps rather than as a replacement. Also the FIS section of EFB is somewhat redundant if you fly advanced FMC equipped non default aircraft. I must say I don't find it an easy app to get my head around, but then I am trying to work through it quite quickly so that I can make up my mind on purchase before the discount ends. Finally the only payment method is Paypal that I don't use.Bruceb

My advice, get yourself over to the developers forum. They are very responsive to suggestions and are keen to improve the product.Bryan.

No problem, Rick, there are 30 days to explore. :smile:Maybe the extensive manual helps you, it should be in the Start Menu -> Aivlasoft or in My Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB\Docs. Since there are quite some features in that program, it's surely worth a look.
