I had the same thing just this past week on a clean install of FS2004 on an XP Operating System. It turned out that I had re-installed my old LAGO FSE utility but had failed to run the update for FSE. Once I ran the update the problem went away.Perhaps you have a similar issue.Hope that helps.

I get a black screen most of the time when I try to quite the FS. Then I have to close FS with the taskmanager. I thinks it´s because of the logbook which I have switched on. But sometimes it works all right. Very strange. Maybe you have the same.

Best regards, Steffen

I don't have that software so I think mine is different from yours. Thanks Opa :D

I just checked, I don't have the "log flight time" ticked in the general settings. Thanks anyway :D

Skinny,Where do you have FS9 installed? If it's inside the 'c:/Program Files' folder, this could be a culprit since there are security and accessibility issues in doing this with Win7, which can cause all kinds of weird and wonderful effects. I have Win7 64-bit and have never had any issues with running FS9 (I have not had to bother with running the program as administrator or running in any kind of compatibility mode), because I have it installed in the path c:/MyApps/FS9, which I specifically created so as to not have to install in the default location. I can't see why things should be any different for the 32-bit version.;)

Try and work it with Vista compatability.

Do you have FSInn installed?
Hi I've downloaded it but I believed I uninstalled it. What is FSinn's folder when installing? I checked my "programs and features" and delete all the unnecessary programs. Doesn't have FSInn in it.

Check your modules folder. See if "FScopilot.dll" is still in the folder.I have had issues in the past with FSinn and FScopilot. Same thing as you, error when closing. Also, I have found the Wilco products can do this to me also, specifically the Airbuses. It really sounds like an add-on is not working correctly. Have you recently installed anything which could have started this behavior? Larry

Yes it does it still in. I will remove it to see if this is really the cause.Yeah I do have the Airbuses from Wilco. But this happened to me before I install it so it shouldn't be the cause, or maybe shouldn't be the sole cause.

yes. there is an issue of copilot/fsinn with flight sim. To avoid it, you have to turn off radio future in copilot's properties or uninstall copilot/fsinn as you did.

Thanks a lot!I only use the time sync in FSCopilot but I'll use FS Real Time instead.
