July 15, 201114 yr Patience! I've read all the posts & seen the various reactions to updates from the PMDG team & it made me wonder about those who have showed restraint & those who have not. I wonder what will they do first when this bird is theirs? It made me think about me too, will I start parked at a gate with the deck in a cold dark state. Will I go through setting her up & then munch my way throughthe check list like I've planned? With the other PMDG planes I've always cut to the quick & pushed back as soon as possible but this new bird makes me want to do it the correct way. I a real aircraft you just follow the procedures in pc based flight sims it always seems a little boring & time consuming. For me this will be the ultimate test for the new baby, is it so real it will demand that I go by the book? Time will tell, have you thought about what you will do? Mike Summers
July 15, 201114 yr Load that thing up on runway 18L, KDFWFloor it.All jokes aside I'll actually take the time to learn her, move with her, sway with her, touch her and caress her, line her up, feel her touch, and then after that I will install my NGX.
July 15, 201114 yr No kidding aside, I always pictured me going through the set up at KPAE, taxi to the runway, then full thrust take off, pitch as high as I can, level out, barrel roll. Not sure if such a move could be pulled off, but it will be fun to try it out. July 15, 201114 yr well I think I'm gonna get through the process of what I did in the real simulator in Amsterdam, planes loaded engine started and in the end of runaway, then takeoff full power, and airport circuit for a few touch and go and then a full stop landing, that will get to take good knowledge of how it flies on FSX, and then probably a full flight, could be Paris/london or some short one like this just to get things right, with the full procedures. Or well obviously the tutorials that will be available at launch :) Aurelien Vandoorine

July 15, 201114 yr First thing I will do, is to start in SAS livery at gate 8 on Stockholm-Arlanda (ESSA) and start her up from C&D and then fly to Copenhagen-Kastrup (EKCH) or Oslo-Gardermoen (ENGM) for my VA.... :D Anders "Ernst" Gidlund Scandinavian VA - SAS1558 Uppsala, Sweden (ESSA/Stockholm Arlanda) PMDG 747-400X owner! | PMDG 737 NGX owner! July 15, 201114 yr I'll probably load it on runway 24 at Schiphol and just give full power to enjoy the sound and watch takeoff from the outside view, after that I'll make a flight from Schiphol to Lisbon with the KLM 737-800 with checklists and just as I want, no cold and dark though, that takes some time :D Greetings, Shane Waanders
July 15, 201114 yr Wait is this topic about having patience or 'crazy things I can do with the NGX'?I'm confused. AJ Pongress
July 15, 201114 yr Author I wonder if any of the beta testers have found that this plane has changed the way they sim or whether they feel that it might do after they finish with testing etc? Clearly, those that we've heard from so far have left us in no doubt that we are about to enter another era. I guess, the answer is-that this plane is as complicated as you want it to be but simple enough to use for those who prefer it that way. Mike Summers
July 15, 201114 yr EGSS to LEMDBut I'm not going to buy until I know it's 100% compatible with my Go Flight hardware, in particular my MCPpro autopilot.I can wait, it's an interesting project but not such a big deal to me.Chris Farrell Chris Farrell
