Install a rex theme,check the fsx\texture dir and look at the cirrus cloud files. If they are today's ,rex updated the clouds.

This is what I did to confirm the REX files were being copied into the Texture folder for FSX:1) Remain the Texture folder to Texture_backup.2) Create a new folder called Texture.3) Run REX to install the files.4) Check to see if the new Texture folder you just created has the REX files in it. If it does, then you know REX is copying the files to the right folder. Make sure to take your backup folder and rename it back to Texture.

thankks for the excellent feedback , i hope rex team sees this thread so thier software could be update to confirm copy to FSX by doing a checksum etc , hope they fix this before SimAirThanks

Well it's actually more simple there is an error directory in REX folder and if something is going wrong check the error log file with a description what went wrong :-)Cheers,

You need to ask this question in our forum and provide a screenshot so that we can help you out with your issue.Many people have been using REX and REX + Overdrive and have not had the issue you are explaining here.

Well you should do it via the guys over there post in the REX forum and they help you fast to get up and running...Rex can be used without overdrive so not sure what you asking here.Post in the REX forum ;-)

to download rex overdrive hotfix, which fixes the crucial issue of rex not copying textures to fsx, i need to register rex website, which i have done, then you have to wait for then to send yo an email that approves your registration.Before you can then login to download rex overdrive hotfix, i am still waiting for that registration approval email, in the meantime i feel to make a flight, so just asking if any got files for rex overdrive hotfix to share so i can sort it out an fly.been using the rex overdrive since it was released without realising i was actually using default fsx textures not rex, cause once you install overdrive, the copy to fsx textures gets broken. The hot fix , i been told fixes that.So just looking if any got the overdrive hotfix files to share so i can download whilst i wait rex to approve my registration.Its a shame about this need to wait registration approval before you can join a forum, cause there seems no time frame on how long you have to wait. Signed up to eaglesoft forum about 4 months ago after buying citationX2, and still waiting registration approval so i can check the forums for fixes to issues,sim hobby is a hard life.

Well I'm a customer too and never had to wait that long at both forums, hence was within a hour so for login details...Hence I registered the day REX was released without overdrive a lot to discover even with the default REX.Maybe something has gone wrong with your email etc...Nobody here will share links of pay ware software due to piracy and illegal software and out of respect for the developers there hard work.

iko,I just checked, and your registration has been approved and you were sent an email to the email address you specified upon registering. Also, I want to make it clear that there are no issues OverDrive fixes other than what it was designed for.Please visit our support forum so we can help you out with your problems.
