July 18, 201114 yr Have you guys ever considered doing an ATR? And if yes, would it be tough to develop? The ATR is pretty popular (Okay maybe not so much) for some Regional carriers, and I realized that there have only been 1 Company that manufactured it...Maybe it is not that great machanically wise?
July 18, 201114 yr I believe they are already doing a Dash-8, so I doubt they will do one for a long time, considering that they are similar aircraft and that they have the 777, and possibly a redo of a 747 down the road at some point. Daniel Miller
July 18, 201114 yr I agree with Daniel. Maybe we won't see a PMDG ATR Series for some time, if at all. Oh, and don't forget that secret project too. I for one would like to see PMDG entering the regional jets market with an Embraer or a CRJ (*cough* Embraer *cough*) after finishing their ongoing projects. We really need a good RJ. Matheus Mafra

However, I would MUCH rather have them do a Canadair, seeing as the Wilco/Feelthere CRJ is..... cra.... sub-par. :( Considering that you are from Brazil, I imagine you like the ERJ. (Me too. 135 & 170 are my favorites. My favorite turbo prop happens to be the 120.) However, the ERJ v2 from Feelthere is *very* good. If you haven't got it, get it. It is miles better than their CRJ, which as I mentioned is....*ahem* sub-par. Ethan Rayhorn My Office: (Taken at FL410)

But you're quite right... the selection of regionals out there is very slim. The Majestic Q300 seems pretty good but... $$$Of course, just thinking about the NGX coming out, I'm getitng a little wound up and everything looks and feels like garbage to me anymore. I can hardly fly anything but the MD-11 these days. And I doubt I'm going to be flying much other than the NGX for a good long while once it comes out. Hopefully I'll get over it sooner or later, though, because I have quite a bit of money tied up in grounded addons... The E-Jets are much more pretty than the ERJs, but talking about what really matters (systems), they are pretty much the same. My favorite turboprop ended being the JS-41, thanks to PMDG, maybe because I never had a deep contact with any other turboprop in my life.Digital Aviation and Aerosoft are doing a CRJ now and looks like it'll be a good one, so I don't think PMDG would jump in a Canadair for some time. We also need a good business jet too because there aren't many of them out there. I can only remember the Wilco Legacy and the Citation-X now. Any bizz jet from the Bombardier line would be great.I have the Wilco ERJs and E-Jets... and they're at least flyable. The E-Jets moreso than the ERJs IMO. I actually lost notion of what is the standard of the 'industry' and what is PMDG. When I look at another aircraft I generally think "Ok, it's flyable, but doesn't have this thing that PMDG ones have." If you start comparing other planes with PMDG, you'll never find a good one. I'm not saying that because I'm a PMDG "yes man", but because it's true. PMDG has modelled many things that are unique to their aircraft and (obviously) you won't find anywhere else. Matheus Mafra
July 18, 201114 yr A PMDG 787 would be awesome. Flys Cessna 172P, C206 Turbo G1000, DA-40XLS G1000, M20J, Archer III/11, Piper Cub, Beech Travelair, C177Check out my Youtube Channel http://www.youtube.com/user/md11pilot11/videosLiam
July 18, 201114 yr Im willing to bet real world money, and lots of it that the "secret" project will be the 787. I wouldn't hold my breath on a ATR, its been done for FSX already, and to be quite honest its not that popular or a real world aircraft to begin with. The JS41 kind of goes against my statment, but we all know RSRs personal attachment to the JS41. July 18, 201114 yr Commercial Member seeing as pmdg have a special relationship with Boeing, I would hope it's a 767-300 aircraft, that would be amazing [after the 777 and 747 of course :D] Alex Ridge Join Fswakevortex here! YOUTUBE and FACEBOOK

July 18, 201114 yr I'd give my left arm for a PMDG Dornier 328, either jet or turboprop. There are quite a few still flying in the USA. Maybe they could go to Las Vegas or Reno and work with Vision Airlines for photos. "A life is like a garden.
