July 18, 201114 yr Thanks guys! About the CRJ, isn't Aerosoft creating one in cooperation with another company? That's what I said before. Digital Aviation and Aerosoft are doing one and it's looking good so far. That's why I don't think PMDG would invest in a CRJ in the next few years. A 767 would be nice, but we have plenty of options for the heavies. We have the PMDG MD-11/F, the PMDG 747-400/F, the QW757, the Level-D 767, the upcoming PMDG 777... I think we don't need another heavy for the list. It's time they start doing something more regional and less global, you know... Regarding the Airbus family, FlightSim Labs is already starting their own family. The A320 is in development and they have plans for an A330 and A340, and maybe an A380. Their Concorde is really good and their Airbus is looking good as well. Matheus Mafra
July 18, 201114 yr Actually, I don't like the ERJs that much. I prefer the E-Jets. Mainly because of their look. The E-Jets are much more pretty than the ERJs, but talking about what really matters (systems), they are pretty much the same. My favorite turboprop ended being the JS-41, thanks to PMDG, maybe because I never had a deep contact with any other turboprop in my life.Digital Aviation and Aerosoft are doing a CRJ now and looks like it'll be a good one, so I don't think PMDG would jump in a Canadair for some time. We also need a good business jet too because there aren't many of them out there. I can only remember the Wilco Legacy and the Citation-X now. Any bizz jet from the Bombardier line would be great.I hadn't seen the Digital Aviation CRJ... looks like it's been six months since they last updated their website though, and it looks as if they shut down and resurrected the project once already. I'd like a Gulfstream IV or V as a biz jet... Same here. PMDG became my quality standard. I actually lost notion of what is the standard of the 'industry' and what is PMDG. When I look at another aircraft I generally think "Ok, it's flyable, but doesn't have this thing that PMDG ones have." If you start comparing other planes with PMDG, you'll never find a good one. I'm not saying that because I'm a PMDG "yes man", but because it's true. PMDG has modelled many things that are unique to their aircraft and (obviously) you won't find anywhere else.Yes... it has nothing to do with being a "a really excited user" and everything to do with realizing that I actually don't need to accept silly bugs in the FMS or uncooperative VNAV, etc... I have a lot of hours in on the MD-11 now and I have yet to encounter one problem that isn't in some way or another my fault. Addons I used to fly all the time have glitches and errancies that kind of ruin the whole flight... Every other addon to some extent seems to require arguing with the FMS which just gets old in an awful hurry. July 18, 201114 yr honestly im not a a really excited user of PMDG but I would buy any aircraft they made =) I know what ever they do will be top quality. Would love to see a GA aircraft from PMDG like a kingair or something. Would make my day. July 18, 201114 yr If i checked PMDG's website, and saw a 767 had been released, i would buy it instantly, taking into acount all of the advancements that have led to some of the products on the Market (I.E ALL OF PMDGS!!! :) ) the 767 is yet to experience these. I would pay a lot of money for a PMDG 767, in my opinion the 767 is one of the greatest aircraft flying, and having been on a few, has one of the sweetest rides, and those 13ft winglets, holy god those are great!!!i'm a little confused though, was the secret product the LCF or is it something else?cheers guys Dylan Leonard
July 18, 201114 yr i must admit i bought PMDG's FS9 737NG but at the time i didnt have enough time to study it and learn how to fly it so it didnt really get used. I am however looking forward to learn everything i can about what is clearly going to be the most complex sim addon ever in the NGX. Mike
July 18, 201114 yr Author Or maybe an ATR guysBut a question is, it doesn't matter if it's PMDG or not, would anyone here like to see an ATR? The Flight 1 ATR is a HOT-MESS in FSX.If not, what would be the reasons for you overlooking an ATR and look towards another Turboprop.

July 18, 201114 yr Someone loves ATRs.:( Serously, thought, I'd like an ATR. There are two local airlines here (Azul and TRIP) that operate both models: the 42 and 72. ATRs also have their beauty too. If someone developed (a good) one, I'd purchase it. I hadn't seen the Digital Aviation CRJ... looks like it's been six months since they last updated their website though, and it looks as if they shut down and resurrected the project once already. The DA Team had to stop developing planes because, as they wrote in their website, they don't have much available time for this anymore. Aerosoft is who is taking the development forward. Aerosoft say they are still commited with that CRJ, but I havn't seen another update on it too, though. Matheus Mafra
July 18, 201114 yr Moderator I'd like an ATR as well. I've tried the Flight1 ATR in FSX and couldn't stand the look of the VC, which is funny because 5 or 6 years ago I loved it in FS9, but at that time VC graphics wheren't what they are today.Sean Campbel Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
July 18, 201114 yr Author Someone loves ATRs.You're right and I'm not ashamed, I don't see why anyone should be ashamed to like an airplane, You'd figure that, that would be our common interest. :(

July 18, 201114 yr I think it'd be nice to have a new ATR released by some 3rd party group. It'd tempt more people into joining VA's if there were a newer, more detailed model available. Well, it'd tempt me anyway... That and a regional jet. I want to fly the NGX & I want to join a VA, but I don't want to learn an old, outdated turboprop just to log 50 hours & then an old, outdated CRJ to log a few more before the 737 checkride. Can't expect special favors though, so I just haven't joined a VA. Maybe after I get a good handle on the 737 but till then I just don't have time to learn two or three completely different aircraft. No plans to do an ATR, sorry. That's only to be expected. It is a small market after all. July 18, 201114 yr No plans to do an ATR, sorry. That is pretty obvious, once we have the Dash-8 on the way.I want to fly the NGX & I want to join a VAI also want to join a VA when the NGX comes out. I have already chosen one (I bet Ethan has a good guess on which one ), but I can't apply without an aircraft. Matheus Mafra
July 19, 201114 yr Author I'll most likely join AA Virtual and fly their 737-800, even thought it's the only 737 they have @Ryan, that isn't a problem, I was just wondering why it may of been over looked, apparently small - markets may have been top contributor.
July 19, 201114 yr I also want to join a VA when the NGX comes out. I have already chosen one (I bet Ethan has a good guess on which one Hmmmm. That's tough. http://www.golvirtual.org/ ??? :( :PSeriously though, I want to join a SWA Virtual airline, but there are like three different ones. Any ideas on which one is best, and most popular?
