July 28, 201114 yr I'm thinking about buying EzDok so I was wondering if PMDG or the testers made a profile for it. As I understand it, making the profile is kind of difficult but I might buy it if a profile is included in the package.
July 28, 201114 yr Commercial Member I bought Ezdok yesterday and was able to create an profile for the MD11 after 20min. It is not too difficult. Daniel

Alex, Ryan mentinoed a few times he was going to put together an EZdok camera profile for it. Whether it will be ready by release and/or come as a seperate download, we will have to wait and see, but he did say he was going to make one. It's relatively easy to do and a fellow on the EZdok forum has made some really good youtube videos going step by step thru the process. July 28, 201114 yr I'm sure it won't be long after release that one is ready by either users, beta testers, or some of the dev. team. It's a pretty popular program. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
July 28, 201114 yr Author Thanks for the responses. Maybe I'll go ahead and buy it now and get to know it before the release.
July 29, 201114 yr How good is it using together with Track IR 5? Does Track IR makes it even better, or stands in the way of EzDok? Thanks Alexis Mefano
July 29, 201114 yr How good is it using together with Track IR 5? Does Track IR makes it even better, or stands in the way of EzDok? Thanks From the reviews and responses I've read from people that have both, they say it's "AMAZING" and a "Must Have". I'm actually thinking about buying both products next week. Chris Ferguson PC Specs(Rebuilt 1/11/19): i7-9700K - Non-OC'd, EVGA RTX 2080ti, G.Skillz 16GB Ram 3000mhz, EVGA SuperNOVA 1000w PSU, Cooler Master ML360R, ASRock Phantom Gaming 4 MoBo, 2x 2TB HDD, 1x 1TB Samsung EVO SSD, 1x 220GB WD SSD
July 29, 201114 yr About the Track IR experience, I can tell you, you won't regret it. It's just so much more immersive than using the hat switch of your joystick, it allows you to naturally reach places inside the VC you'd never imagine reaching before Track IR. Now the only con I read about some few people that got dizzy after using it for 20 or more minutes, that has nothing to do with the product, but with some kind of motion sickness, or something like that the person already had. I never had a problem with it. In fact, I've never used 2D panels since I bought it not long ago Alexis Mefano
July 29, 201114 yr I wouldn't be without my TrackIR or my EZdok. They work in perfect harmony and always complement eachother..(you look so great...Oh, thank you...You do too). One thing that I have noticed though, if you have "Walk and Follow", I find that I need to turn off EZdok, or there is a conflict. Bob Robert Yunque
July 29, 201114 yr I bought Ezdok yesterday and was able to create an profile for the MD11 after 20min. It is not too difficult. Are you joking?! I'm a fairly intelligent guy, and I can figure most stuff out if I sit down with it long enough but...have you actually read the manual for EZdok? It barely, and I mean barely covers all the extra options for vibration and frequency tweaking. Are you really supposed to figure out all the options below in 20 minutes? I couldn't. AJ Pongress
July 29, 201114 yr I agree AJ (yes...I know who you are ) - I like to think that I'm fairly intelligent, but when it comes to EZDok, I feel like a dunce. It seems like there are no explanations in the doco. All I see are great videos from people using EZDok, but I have no idea how they actually got to that point. Anyone know of a good tutorial? Sorry for the dunce post.... Thanks! Ethan Rayhorn My Office: (Taken at FL410)

July 29, 201114 yr Hi Ethan! Have a look here: http://www.simforums...topic38637.html Many people (including me) have found those videos much more helpful than the manual. I'd recommend watching them in sequence, although one of the later ones deals specifically with EZCA+TrackIR integration. (I wish they'd decide whether they're going to call it EZdok or EZCA, though). Cheers, Brian

July 29, 201114 yr Moderator I agree AJ (yes...I know who you are ) - Hahaha, the man of many aliases. I've noticed that as well. Joking aside from AJ, Div, or whatever his name is, a lot of those speciality generators do not need to be messed with. Like Brian said, using those youtube vidoes and just working the basic settings can give you nice effects without a lot of hassell. Anytime I get a new a/c I can set up a VC main panel view, overhead, and center pedestal view, along with 2 or three exterior views, in about15 to 30 minutes. Then I go find a long runway, like at KEDW, to tune the takeoff and landing roll effects. Once you do it a time or two its not a big deal.
