Well it says Supports Xbox 360 Controller for Windows.

Mine does

What matters is the operating system requirements which are on the case. Mine are XP and Vista. Neither are on Xbox

No, you cannot play FSX on the XBox in any country! You can use an XBox controller on your PC - period. DJ
Can't imagine why you'd want to use one for that, but it's technically possible. Only when you plug that controller into a PC, of course.
Because it's a cheap controller that works fantastic for controlling a virtual aircraft. Install the driver. Plug it in. It's that simple. (good idea to check the calibration tho). My only gripe with it... was a bit sensitive for Hornet carrier landings. But it worked great for "everything else" including helicopters. Couldn't use my Thrustmaster Cougar since I had made the decision in 2006 to use XP x64 exclusively. No XP 64-bit drivers for that. But there were 64-bit drivers for the XBox Controller when FSX came out. I used an XBox Controller exclusively for FSX until switching last fall to the Saitek X-65F. There are a lot of things to like about that system (X-65), except I can't use it for Helos. I like the XBox Controller so much I sometimes find myself wishing I had it plugged in. Lest you think I am one of those whose nursemaid was a PS or Xbox... I am an older fart... nearly 50. I could care less about appearances (for the most part Tounge.gif )... what I care about is how well something works.

this topic is a great example of how rumors start...

No, that pc games can be played on an XBox 360.

The XBox 360 controller is equivalent to a USB yoke or joystick, and that is the ONLY thing FSX and the 360 have in common (besides them both being made by Microsoft). Unless you want laser burns all over you FSX disc, I wouldn't suggest placing it inside the 360.

It would be good but obviously it is not so.

Stan
