Mark, the first tutorial runs through a flight from CDU preflight to shutdown. It walks you through some route modifications in the FMC, and shows you how to use some of the features on the HGS and how to perform an autoland. Those are the high points, at least...Ryan has done an outstanding job with the tutorial! Reading the manuals instead? There's a lot more in the manuals...as JR has said elsewhere, you're going to be learning about this airplane for years.

I only do test flights/practice takeoffs and landings at Edwards AFB. Yes, a little silly, but since it is a test base I figured it is appropriate. I actually don't fly out of any other airport until I know how to complete a flight.

Make sure you look to the south and wave. I'll be starting up and watching you fly past.smile.png

Can a 737-900WL make that distance? Or is a stop at KJFK required?

Thanks EMB, " you're going to be learning about this airplane for years..... " <-- I like this way of producing simulations !
