I downloaded Essentials last night but by the time I unwrapped it, deleted Rec2 and then installed essentials I only had time to quickly configure it and take the NGX for a short hop out of YWLM. My first impressions were WOW! The blending of the wind layers are great also. Can't wait to really get acquainted tonight. Enjoy guys it's looks like a great update:)

I did a Queenstown to Auckland yesterday afternoon and had thunderstorms in the Auckland area, gusting winds and broke visual at 600' on the 23ILS...was a great flight!

I also really like YSSY(Sydney) to YHBA(Hervey Bay) Only has an Rnav approach and short runway and is great with Orbx scenery OR Reverse flight is good also if you have a heavy load out of YHBA. I did this last night was a great trip with plenty of weather. YSSY to YBNA(Ballina) is another good one for short runway ops

One of my favorite routes in Oz is YBBN(Brisbane) to YBHM (Hamilton island ) using the Rnav RW14 Runway is only 5200' feet long

I'm just at TOD on a flight from YBBN(Brisbane) to YBHM (Hamilton Island) and briefed the approach for the Rnav RW32FS2 crew is just amazing , I've said it a few posts back you too get it guys and make sure you use the voice control. Takes all but 10 mins to set it up!!

My understanding is that Icing Conditions exist when OAT on the ground or TAT in flight is+10°C or below and visible moisture in any form is present :)
