So are you saying that all of this is done, no product download or purchase and no way to fend off this attack?

If you want to be broad in your defense, then you can reduce it, but depending on how distributed the distributed part of the attack is (and how many hosts are involved) then it can be very difficult to counter, which is why it is so effective.

we will get there in the end i can't wait Ryan it is an amazing aircraft m8

Ryan, do you know if it is possible to trace the source of this cyber-attack?

There's firewalls and stuff but they can only do so much when it comes from such a wide range of IPs.
As said above. This now is really childish. Party poopers! It could have been such a great birthday and release party...

The Chinese are the best hackers in the world. I think a few people need a lesson in geo-politics. Best regards,Robin.

This kind of atack, is prety hard to avoid because it has many sources. PMDG has very limited options on it, From our side, we just have to wait until the atacker gets bored. Do not worry about your CC, this is an external atack, the only consequece is the server going down.Paulo Bernardo

These poor PMDG boy's aren't going to get any sleep tonight. My anger is not for the delay in getting the NGX in my FSX hanger, but for the fact that they've been working for years just for this day, and some #&$%^#^#&* from China stopped it the moment they hit the go button. Sorry guys, you deserved better then this.
