Realistic Refueling

Featured Replies

PMDG et al, I was curious to know why you didnt model realistic refueling like you did in the MD11. Do you have plans to add this feature?

- thats not what I mean. Im talking about where you can watch the fuel amount rise as fuel is being pumped in

Sorry, I do not have the MD-11 so I was not aware of that feature.

I was hoping for this feature as well maybe in a update they can put this in. William Coade

That would definitely be neat! They should start a wish list for the service pack and pin it. My wish would be an option to select hooked up to jetway, so when I am sitting in KLAS at the gate, in the real world, I would be hooked up to the jetway, so I would be getting a/c from the airport, and my temps wouldn't go off the scale and get the duct overheat (if that makes sense).

I really liked that feature and would love to see it on the NGX.

Mike, I cant figure this out. The MD11 is nothing less than awesome! Why not?

Hmm. Simulate that by sitting by your computer, staring for 30 minutes, and then MENU/FS ACTIONS/FUEL .dance.gif
haha +1

I like the feature in the MD11 also, but it's not a real big deal not having it. Maybe they might add it later.

That would be cool to watch the fuel load like on the MD11, really more so on 737 over the MD11 as a pilot day can consist of more then one route and often are setting up that day next route and taking on fuel for it. I personally miss the ACARS from the 747-400 with the "Event Times". It was able to show time leaving the gate, time wheels left ground, time wheels hit ground, and time at gate.

I like this idea about real time fuel loading. And I am with Raven on the Event Times page, although I am not sure exactly what an ACARS page looks like in a 737, if it is similar to that or not.

Would be even cooler if we could set the required fuel in the external panel (not modelled), then watch it be fuelled from the VC.
