August 29, 201114 yr Is there a way to change the standard taxispeed.Right now taxispeed is much higher then other aircrafts. Ton van Dongen
August 29, 201114 yr I think you can change it somewhere in some .cfg file. But don't ask me which one. Greetings from the 737 flightdeck!
August 29, 201114 yr What do you mean?! You set the taxi speed with throttle dont you?! Simon Roberts
August 29, 201114 yr Taxi is usually around 10/20 knots in some cases you could use 30 for long taxy, Marco Negri
August 29, 201114 yr What do you mean?! You set the taxi speed with throttle dont you?! Throttle? What a concept! Don't forget brakes; they might help too. Dave Skuback - KBLM'Cause down the shore everything's all right
August 29, 201114 yr paha, in the .cgf? you just use the throttles to accelerate, and the brakes to slow down. it really is just that simple. Mitch bowman Mitch Brown Private Pilot | Aerospace Engineering Major

August 29, 201114 yr thats why the engineers put high speed tape on the wing tips.. any pilot that comes back without a scratch has to buy the Tech dep. beer ;) Live to fly- Fly to live Morten Hansen

August 29, 201114 yr my passengers on the ngx never complained about it Ahhh I did it in my PAirbus A380 at OMDB. We had a 30 minute delay so they weren't complaining about the time saving...until we had to check into maintenance for a damaged wing tip. August 29, 201114 yr Author I don't use any throttle, after taxi clearance and releasing the parking brakes it starts to speed up to about 45 knots, the only way to slow down is by using the brakes! Ton van Dongen
August 29, 201114 yr Speaking of the A380, is there a decent addon out there?? Want to fly that beast.. I don't use any throttle, after taxi clearance and releasing the parking brakes it starts to speed up to about 45 knots, the only way to slow down is by using the brakes! What's your N1 showing when you release the brakes..
August 29, 201114 yr The PAirbus A380 is a stunning model.
