Carenado tweeted the Cessna 337 will be on sale within a few hours

Featured Replies

Saw a tweet this morning from Carenado that they will be releasing the 337 "within hours". That was at about 8:00 am EDT. "C337H Skymaster for FSX almost ready. It will be up for sale in the next hours"

ZOMG!!!!!!!! I'm probably not going to get this one... it's like a glorified 210... I'll be waiting for their King Air however...

They have their product page up for it:http://www.carenado....oduct&correl=62 I must say it looks absolutely beautiful. I was just about to pull the trigger on their 340... choices choices! Although, the 340 is a bit cheaper at $34 compared to $10,000 ;)

Can't compare the 337 with the 210 at all. 2 vs 1 engine, no yaw moment, great visibility from the VC and for the first time a Carenado plane that nicely snaps and spins.Last but not least the 337 uses a much more forgiving wing section than the 210

Bah... similar speeds. Doesn't fly well without both engines lol... glorified 210 cool.png When I got down and dirty with the specs... the 337 has better climb perf but lacks the range of the 210 (at least if we're comparing models that Carenado did). The 210M also goes faster and higher...

Interesting airplane... Does it accomodate RXP GNS430?

The RealityXP integration in this one looks really nice:
It looks nice but it is very hard to use. The click spots on the dials are messed up. A lot of times right clicking on them brings up the menu, rather than turning the knob. Lotussim and Realair's implementations are much better. I must say though the flight model is a lot better, it still suffers from Carenado's usual lack of beta testing. If they ever got a good team of testers together they'd be dangerous!

Isn't the H Version of the 337 the pressurized version...or did it come in both flavors? Another question, can you import flight plans into the GPS?Mark

I hadn't noticed, maybe because I always use the mousewheel on the RXP knobs instead of left/right clicking. That works flawlessly.

How many and which bugs have you discovered so far?
