September 22, 201114 yr Hi gents,I am using bojote's tweaked cfg and fps limiter. My problem is the blurries. Texture loading times are very long.you can understand what i mean much better when you look at the pciture below, and please compare the aircraft detail qualty between textures, before commenting. Here is the my rig; i5 2500k 4.0 ghzzotac gtx460 1gb4gb 1333ddr3 ramp67 c45 mobo*most of the graphic settings are at high Cenk Demir Besiktas JK 1903
September 22, 201114 yr As a test, use FSX without the external limiter and with fps limited within FSX, say at 30 or 24. Then check your blurries and report back.. Bert
September 22, 201114 yr *most of the graphic settings are at high It looks (to me), Cenk, as though your settings may be too high. 4.0 gig, a 460 and only 4 gig of memory is not a high-end system, and to expect 30 fps and sharp graphics over a city as big as that one seems to be, may be just asking too much of the graphics system at your settings. i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
September 22, 201114 yr Whats your LOD_RADIUS? You should try something around 6.5 perhaps. Also, have you used nvidia inspector to tweak the filter settings? Johan Pettersen
September 22, 201114 yr Moderator Maybe you need to tweak bojotes tweaks further, or remark some of his tweaks out of your cfg and see if it helps. Turning down the settins like Frank suggested would also probably help.BTW, what are 'fatal' blurries? I've never heard them described as fatal prior to your post. September 22, 201114 yr Ok, even with default LOD radius settings - something's not right. Get rid of the bjotote tweak stuff. Start with a fresh cfg. Only add the highmemfix=1 line. Make sure your nvidia inspector profile is setup properly, check AF set to 16x. Once you've done that try bumping the LOD radius up to 6.5 | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
September 23, 201114 yr Delete FSX.cfg and let FSX rebuild it. Lock frames at 30. Set Autogen to Dense. Disable all road traffic and boats. If you still have blurries there's something wrong with your computer. What's the zoom level at that screenshot? Tomaz Drnovsek My FSX Videos My AVSIM Gallery

September 23, 201114 yr Author thank you all for your replies.i am currently in office so i am not able to make a try right now. but i will definetly check your suggestions. It looks (to me), Cenk, as though your settings may be too high. 4.0 gig, a 460 and only 4 gig of memory is not a high-end system, and to expect 30 fps and sharp graphics over a city as big as that one seems to be, may be just asking too much of the graphics system at your settings. i have 4 graphic settings file, from low to extreme and i tried them all and i got same result. Whats your LOD_RADIUS? You should try something around 6.5 perhaps. Also, have you used nvidia inspector to tweak the filter settings? i don't remember but, i am using bojote's automatic cfg suggestion from venetubo site. and yes i have tweaked fsx with nvidia inspector. See here:http://forum.avsim.n...f-all-settings/ i am already using same or very similar settings Maybe you need to tweak bojotes tweaks further, or remark some of his tweaks out of your cfg and see if it helps. Turning down the settins like Frank suggested would also probably help. BTW, what are 'fatal' blurries? I've never heard them described as fatal prior to your post. i will test your advice in the evening.my english isn't good, so i may have used wrong word. i tried to explain what i feel with "fatal" word. i know it doesn't cause ctd or something like that. i am sorry. i have gex and utx installed on fsx. do they cause blurries?and will that solve my problem?: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/317709-blurries-fix-for-fsx-experimental/ Cenk Demir Besiktas JK 1903
September 23, 201114 yr If you have installed a new gfx driver lately you might have to retweak your settings using nvidia inspector. Johan Pettersen
September 23, 201114 yr Are you flying with a Sim Rate higher than normal? If so, see what the terrain looks like at normal speed, or even slow it further to see if this changes things. Chris David
September 23, 201114 yr Author no, simulation rate is always at normal speed Cenk Demir Besiktas JK 1903
September 23, 201114 yr If you tried everything, then there is only one solution: delete FSX, delete ALL FSX system folders (there are about 4 in total), and reinstall.
