I read REX is working. Is this weather or texture installation? Are you able to install REX clouds and enviromental textures?

Al (Chock) has posted affirmatively to both questions, and I can confirm that the textures, including clouds, do load properly. You will need to point REX to the different directories and .cfg files.

Thanks a lot. If I can get everything like I have it in NGX, I'll be switching ;-)

Check out our shots of REX and Orbx scenery with Prepar3D on our website here: http://www.prepar3d.com/experience/images/

Hello P3D fellows ! Active Sky Evolution (build 647) is compatible with P3D in network environment.Simconnect Client 61259 (SP2/Acceleration) works with Simconnect Server ESP 1.0.20.0 installed by P3D. As with FSX, you need only to configure a simconnect.xml in C:\Users\<yourname>\appdatas\roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D\ folder on your server machine and a simconnect.cfg in documents folder on client machine. As with FSX, it's useful to modify ASE registry keys to point to shared P3D folders (ASE doesn't recognize P3D so you have to cheat and point P3D folders as FSX folders) Depiction and rendering are as usual with just one remark :"disable haze filter" doesn't work like in FSX and give a negative-like aspect for horizon scenery. Is there any possibility for the full overcast skies or is it the engine that is limiting it?

Anyone found strange behaviour with BLOOM switched on ? Namely airport/city light coloured buildings having a large white misty halo, visible from many miles away.Disapears when BLOOM is turned off. Occurs in both default scenery and installed demo area.Great for finding elusive airfields, so long as they have light coloured/white building roofs/walls etc....LOLHave had a shuffty inside the "bloom.fx" file but unable to see anything obvious.

Arnie....if it ain't broke, don't fix it...

How about Radar Contact? Does it work with P3D?

Hi,I have been unable to get Radar Contact 4 to work with Prepar3D. I get the following error: Maybe running on WideClient, but FS not running on Server, or wrong FSUIPC.I did ask on the Radar Contact forum if version five is going to be compatible with P3D, no answer yet.
