It's difficult to grasp what PREPAR3D brings to the table that begs a subscription. I also can't grasp paying $10 a month for what is essentially a stable "beta". I could see paying a one time fee of $40-$100. That's what it's worth to me. They need to really step up the simulation for me to even consider paying a subscription to take my add on aircraft for a spin. Even then, I hate the idea. 3 years from now I would have spent over $360 on the same title. That makes me cringe and I'm afraid many developers are starting to lean towards this practice. I realize this is becoming an even more niche market, but that doesn't make me more willing to fork out my CC information. I'm also not getting the weird attitude towards Patrick. He seems to be the only level headed one on this particular topic... PS. How much are they paying you for this?

Prepar3d is much more user based--The devs actually respond and they genuinely care about our hobby and they want to improve it-That much dedication from the devs was enough for me to make the switch.... MS didn't seem to give a flying-fadoodle about us Hardcore Simmers.

I read it; I still firmly believe Prepar3d is the future for our hobby. Period.-FSX is old. P3D is FSX on steroids and getting better as every day passes.
