November 2, 201114 yr Did a landing and take off at Orca Island at 115,000#. HUD makes things much easier.....much easier to touch down exactly where you want at the speed you want. Very nice aircraft. This is going to be fun.
November 2, 201114 yr I have orcas island & I never thought to try landing the ngx there. Can't remember the length, but it's a pretty short runway! Kenneth Weir My Saitek yoke mod i7 2600k @ 4.7 8GB Gskill CAS7 2x GTX580 SLI Surround + GT520 Accessory Win7x64
November 2, 201114 yr With no passengers, and 1/3 fuel I can get the 600(and only the 600) off in about 3/4 of that runway. very fun
November 2, 201114 yr Yeah I got it without thinking about runway length & then looking at it in fsc I thought to myself "yeah... That's gonna be for the Cessna..."Only problem is I use wa79 for that...Land the ngx there and I'll really be impressed!Edit: That may not have sounded the way I meant for it to. Landing any variant at kors is no mean feat! Try recording it next time, I'd like to see that. Sure the taxiway are cracked and ruts in the grass too. Also as PMDG rules they request you sign full name for posting in forum, just a heads up. -Raven HarrisIntel i7 980X @ 4.43GHz | ASUS Rampage III | Corsair 6GB DDR3 2000MHz | 3 EVGA GTX280 | Corsair 1200 Watt | Intel 510 SSD (RAID 0)PMDG - 747-400/8iF | MD11/F | BAe J41 | 737NG 6/7/8/9 Hope ER/BBJ|777LR/FFlight1- Cessna Mustang
November 2, 201114 yr Author It was a fun exercise. It wouldn't work with the charts, req'd landing distance, balanced field length etc but it's great to try. I have to get the manuals from PMDG for the perforrmance charts.....next purchase. Dave
November 2, 201114 yr I have a good recipe for excitement.SPZO, the runway is long, very long, but you're 10,000 feet, loss of engine performance ...João Alfredo It is impossible to please Greeks and Trojans É impossivel agradar Gregos e Troianos

Can't have much margin there to perform an RTO if needed. Of course, that's what sims are for...to try things that should never be tempted in real life.Eric Szczesniak Eric Szczesniak
November 2, 201114 yr V1 will be high speed taxi speed... 30 knots...I somehow think KORS wasn't built to take the weight of an NG... :DAndrew Andrew Entwistle
