There are some amber lights that light up on on the overhead when the doors are open. When properly configured you should not see any amber lights on the overhead. Also helps to check the First officers side as any caution messages the captain does not get the co-pilot will. I think the Doors is one such item.

Well,I think this could coincide with a 737 NG video that shows impressively how a modern plane reacts at an abnormal situation. The most interesting part is at the end of the movie. Maybe your plane had a similar problem and automatically opened the doors during flight because the packs and recirculation could not handle the situation anymore.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBKaJ1OJOi0&feature=channel_video_title

Just to add to that Paul.In keeping with Boeing Logic, the Captains master caution lights are for the left side of the overhead/aft overhead andthe FO's are from the right side.Fred.
