December 10, 201114 yr Anyone in posession of Switzerland Professional X by Flylogic will have a fully functional equivalent, without making any further purchase. And a big hole in their wallet. ;-)
December 10, 201114 yr And a big hole in their wallet. ;-)I can't wait to see the price on Aerofly's offering for Swiss-only scenery and a few eye candy aircraft.Never mind, found it. I still wouldn't buy it though. Only because heavy iron is what interest me. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules

Only because heavy iron is what interest me.Yes, not bad for 40 euros. Agreed, it's not for everyone, considering limitations etc. Looks like good fun though. I hope they continue to develop it further so it gets my support.
December 23, 201114 yr Initial customer reactions are starting to come in and are very positive. Some impressive videos have been posted also. This looks perfect for those liking "low and slow" flying in an interesting region like Switzerland. Yes, the flight operations are simplified, but that's ok since the eye candy is so good. The shadows and texture resolution are amazing. I just wish there were seasons and weather, but that may come in the future. I can't wait for the U.S. version and wish they'd hurry up adding it to their U.S. shop. Also, their forum indicates that they will make it open for developers, so we could see a lot of add on planes and regions in the future. This product may be a great competitor to Flight if the developer could put some $ behind marketing.
December 23, 201114 yr If there physics are anything like that of aerofly 5.5 for R/C pilots - than count me in! This will be the simulator to die for in terms of realism to fly simulated aerobatics and so forth.

I've tried Condor and really liked that.http://www.condorsoaring.com/
