December 8, 201114 yr The Project Tupolev TU-154M is the ultimate freeware aircraft for FS9. But only if you enjoy complex addons Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)

December 9, 201114 yr This Convair 440 is undoubtedly the coolest! You can't shut the flippin' window!J My co-pilot's name is Sid and he's a star! http://www.adventure-unlimited.org
December 9, 201114 yr This Convair 440 is undoubtedly the coolest! You can't shut the flippin' window!JLOL - actually I think the CR42 I recommended (open cockpit biplane) might just have it beaten in the coolness department but I will say that a blast of cold air on the left side would dampen my enthusiasm to become pilot in command in the 240. Right seat would be a bit warmer - there are some good things to say about being "uncool!"
December 10, 201114 yr When it comes to great freeware, I've always liked the AFG Beechcraft Super King Air.

December 10, 201114 yr wasnt asking everything you have to do i was simply saying define difficult.. with a bit of sarcasm..You were the first to use the word "difficult" in this this thread. Why should other have to define it for you? Gerry Howard
December 10, 201114 yr Why not just install and try, you can always uninstall if you dont like it. Most of the freeware addons are like anything else, you can make them as complex as you want. Im not a heavy button clicker, so I keep things fairly simple, whether its a Cessna or 747. But to each his own. Some guys take the "simulation' part seriously, and I think thats awesome. Some of the russian(Soviet) planes you will find dont have english text in the cockpit, so that adds a bit to the difficulty. Realistic I assume, but tough for monolingual folks like me :-)I've tried most of those suggested already, I fully second all of them.
