From the November 15th 2011 news - XP (even with SP3) doesn't support DX10

We’ve found the game runs well on low graphics settings with hardware meeting the following specifications:

• CPU: Dual Core 2.0 GHz
• GPU: 256 MB card capable of shader 3.0 (DX 9.0c compliant)
• HD: 10 GB Hard Drive space
• OS: WinXP SP3
• RAM: 2.0GB

Jahman, you need to pay more attention to my post......hahahahFrom the beginning I said DX9, probably DX10 (sure bet now as you all can see it in Nvidia Inspector) and maybe DX11....will not be surprise to see a patch containing DX11 further down the road if we don't have it at release....Now ask yoursef this, if Flight was to be the holy grail of all simulators (as we hard core understand it) why will some big 3RD party developers be pushing other sim BIG TIME....Do you remember when I said that we are in for a surprise or two.....here is one of them....read the rating bottom left corner, crude humour and mild violence....hahaha...wait, wait....it may be just a distraction.....lets ask Brandon......

Crude humor and mild violence could simply mean a mission where you might have someone in your plane say something slightly offensive... LOLThe mild violence is probably for the aircraft crash effects-- you guys are absurd in your silly little games of reading between the lines...

The game will run DX9 for sure, so if your OS is XP you'll be running the game in DX9 regardless of your GPU, if you are on Vista and Window 7 you will run the game in DX10 if MS released Flight in DX10 and if your GPU support DX10. Seeing Flight DX10 in Nvidia Inspector maybe just for testing, it does not mean that MS will release Flight in DX10.

I also agree that Flight will be based on DX9, purelly. Flight will approach DX10 in the same fake manner of FSX.DX11 are produced by MS but they will be ignored by Flight, weird, sad and hopeless indeed.
