November FSX and Flight Comparison Screenshots

Featured Replies

@BrandonThank you for your great and hard work, as much as I'm pleased with advancement in Flight, I'm so amazed with your comparison shots for us to understand the difference, Microsoft wouldn't do it any better than that or even (I think) close to that. Thanks again.

Well done Brandon. Thanks! I really like the improvement of rthe autogen trees. The size liiks much better than in FSX. Gives a better sense of altitude.

Cheers, Bert

Brandon, it must take an extortionate amount of your time to find the exact locations . Thanks for them. Much appreciated.

I join the ones here who have made compliments to Brandon.Great effort, excellent results and really much appreciated.I can spot only very minor and cosmetic differences between 6 years old shots and the new ones BTW.-

Great job! I think Flight looks better in every way. I especially like the warmer, more natural look that imo also is true for FS9.It also seems the overall LOD in the terrain is a bit better.

I can spot only very minor and cosmetic differences between 6 years old shots and the new ones BTW.
Thanks for your input Stevie.steviewonder_450x380.jpg

You can only tell cosmetic differences from screenshots? Say it ain't so.

A+++ for your effort I truly appreciate it. Microsoft should hire you in the Marketing Dept.

That was funny ok happy.pngSo, considering you see beyond the human possibilities like the 6 million dollar man, would you enlighten me about what's the major differences ?I see none of them, only minor trees differences and few dark fake clouds.6mdollarsman.jpgUploaded with ImageShack.usThanks for telling us what your eyes see-

Lighting, shadows, terrain mesh, textures, model detail... I see your point, I said it earlier in development, the changes are subtle but who cares? Which would you rather use?

That differences would have been fair enough if one year only would have passed by FSX and Flight. If we were in 2007 I would agree with you.Over 6 years passed by meanwhile, so those subtle differences do not fill the 6 years gap at all.Above all considering we will have a small portion of Hawaii only.

Then stick with FSX and be happy laugh.png or just keep b****ing about Flight and how much of a horrible failure it will be/is, whatever toots your horn.If all other things are equal then Flight surpasses FSX at least visually, regardless of development time, what more do you want?
