February 14, 201214 yr Commercial Member Hi everyone. REF: CYYZ Airport - I am the guy who started the ball rolling on this. I live near Toronto airport, and after 6 months of chipping away with the GTAA airport Authority, I managed to get airside, and took over 850 HD pictures for this project. Whils't I can not divulge any more information at this time, all I will say is that Toronto Airport is being created as we speak. More to come in the next few months. This should be a project to watch and buy once it's done, as the details I took and have paid close attention to - for example: Winter Operations: Icing bays, dont get utilized on VATSIM, i paid close attention to things like this, and when it's in full swinging action - I bet it will be used for winter OPS more and more. Also, MonTreal by FlyTampa is another to watch out for. Some good canadian sceneries to be released soon. Darryl
February 15, 201214 yr Anything has to be better than BluePrint Simulations CYYZ. The buildings look horrible and not the greatest on Frame Rates either. VATSIM: P2 | I1

March 8, 201214 yr Author Anybody know what Company Darrlly works for? I'd like to get on a forum and follow Progress...Toronto is my favourite Airport and I've been waiting years for a good!Cheers Ron Hamilton "95% is half the truth, but most of it is lies, but if you read half of what is written, you'll be okay." __ Honey Boo Boo's Mom
March 8, 201214 yr I will be getting both Dubai and Toronto!DanielToo bad you won't be able to fly between the two....LOLhttp://www.theglobea...article1166252/ ----------------------------------------------------Most likely one of the reasons why many developers have not done a Toronto YYZ is because that airport has been under major renovation over the past 10 years. They tore down the old Terminal 1 and built a new Terminal 1:http://www.ibigroup....terminal-bg.jpgProbably it was best to wait to do this airport when the construction was finished. It looks great as I was there about a year ago.Cheers Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me

March 9, 201214 yr I'm pretty sure CYYZ will be distributed by Aerosoft as per their advert in a German Magazine about the new Mega Airport Toronto Pearson. Maybe D can confirm this on his own. Al Stiff
March 9, 201214 yr Best of luck! CYYZ is long overdue.Kind regards,I believe the same company making US Cities is doing Toronto as well. Will make a good addition!

I would much rather fly in a Cathay Pacific 777-300ER than an Air Canada 777-300ER (VHHH-CYYZ in real life-not flight sim!). I would like to try Air Canada one day though....But they would have to make an attractive price for me to board their aircraft. What are your views? Have you been on Air Canada?
March 9, 201214 yr Air Canada is ok for international flights, they suck up to the customers. For domestic flights, for some reason, they go for the lowest common denominator. But yes, if you're travelling internationally Cathay is the way to go if you can. Class act all the way...

March 9, 201214 yr What are your views? Have you been on Air Canada?I have been on Air Canada but not for years now. Was never happy with them. In Canada I much prefer WestJet and I've also flown Porter Airline from Toronto Island to Newark, NJ. Porter is great and is Canada's only 4-star rated airline, they are an all Dash 8 fleet though so only regional flights, but they do a fantastic job with customer service....Cheers Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me

March 9, 201214 yr Air Canada has to get out of the "we have a monopoly" head set. It's hard to do, and it's up in the air how they'll make out. It would be a shame to see Canada's flag carrier bite the dust. That being said, yes, Westjet is much better for in country travel. They just seem to care...
