March 1, 201214 yr If you remove the cones altogether I want a refund I am afraid, the excellent cones were one of the reasons why I purchased this product. Seems a bit drastic to remove all the cones when all we seem to need is the volume increasing for all source audio files. Cheers, Andy.

March 2, 201214 yr Hi Marc,I do apologise, we have been having some strange technical problems with our support program and are looking at a suitable replacement. I have replied to your ticket. The main issue is the sound cones and I think it might be best just to remove them. Thanks,OoveeHi Oovee,Thank you for your response; I look forward to this being fixed soon and I am confident you will do so. I owe you an apology regarding the support issue. I clicked on the support link in the documentation and entered my issue on that page. I realize now that this was a support blog and not the same thing as actually opening a ticket, so that was my mistake. Thanks again and I hope you can get the update out soon - I know these sounds will make the 337 even more fun to fly.Marc. March 15, 201214 yr I'm starting to get just a little concerned about this issue getting fixed. It has been almost two weeks since this was reported. I have not received a response to my support ticket, and there's been no news here. I hope I'm wrong and that the problem is still being worked. An update would be appreciated if there is any information to share. Marc Musgrove
March 25, 201214 yr Well, I for one, give up. Despite the posts here and my trouble ticket the only response I've received (after over two weeks since opening the ticket) was an email basically asking "Now what was the trouble you were having again?".This is one of the few things I've bought for FSX that I consider a waste of money. I know many people are enjoying the sound package and I wish it could work for me, but I can't fix it wthout support.Oh well, the Carenado sounds are pretty darn good. I'll have to live with that. It is a shame though. Marc Musgrove
March 29, 201214 yr Guess I'm more into visual then sound I got a big kick out of the 2 exhaust pipes throwing smoke and moving.so far been happy With it. Even the gain on the dash the HD detail is great. Signature best place to put my name Bruce
March 29, 201214 yr Any conflict with Accu-Feel? Been flying all a/c including defaults and Accu-Feel does a fine job with wind noise, cockpit environment and a whole lot of other stuff. Carenado engine sounds are fine with me so I'm not sure if I need this add-on.Richard.
March 29, 201214 yr I've been pretty happy with this soundpack as well after a couple of tweaks in the sound.cfg to make the flaps louder. No conflict with Accu-Feel here.I actually like the quieter engine but I think if I could just figure out how to make the engine maybe 20% louder it would be perfect for me. Hopefully the developer is still working on an update otherwise I may try to tweak some more. --John near KPAE
March 30, 201214 yr Accu-Feel working OK for me with the stock Carenado sound set. I have yet to do any tuning of Accu-Feel with the C337H but I do like the extra sound effects it give you. Cheers -- Peter Edrupt
March 30, 201214 yr You've got to give it to A2A, Accu-Feel is good value for money considering the range of aircraft the effects apply to.Richard.
March 31, 201214 yr I wish we could hear something from Oovee. The shame of all this is that the sounds themselves (when played OUTSIDE of FSX) are just terrific and obviously the product of a great deal of very skilled work. Why some users can't hear them that way in FSX (while others can) is the trouble. Whether its sound cones, individual sound cards/drivers, or whatever is going on I would be willing to be patient if we could just hear that it is being worked on. Clearly there was no intent to release anything other that a fine product, but it seems to have gone off the rails somewhere. Marc Musgrove
April 5, 201214 yr I have been trying for two days to install oovee sound 337 sound pack.....no go! Instead of the wav. files going into the 337 folder the get spread out FSX root folder. I tried copying them into the 337 folder with no luck. Dick
April 5, 201214 yr Yeah I ran into the same issue, the installer actually needs to be pointed at the "<FSXdir>\SimObjects\Airplanes\Carenado Skymaster 337\sound" directory and not just the toplevel FSXdir as most FSX installers do, also as it suggests make a backup of the original sound folder as it does not save it. Hopefully these are things they will improve in future versions. --John near KPAE
