I would have rushed to buy Flight if...

Instead of chasing coins or gold, or just buzzing around an island, if Flight had "careers" and missions for those careers I would have spent all the money on DLC that MS could kick out the door. I know FSX and Flight have some of these elements, but they are basic and have not been fully fleshed out. For example, picture one of your careers as an Alaskan bush pilot trying to build your small company (like that Alaskan pilot show on TV). Missions could range from hauling mail to picking up skiers, and collecting money along the way to upgrade plane's or capabilities. DLC would include new missions and corresponding scenery packs (like new bases for your company). For Multiplayer, you could link your "company" with others online and challenge each other on who can fly the most cargo, as well as having to bid for jobs, etc. As an airline pilot you would work your way up the ranks. You would upgrade to new plane types, different routes, etc. DLC could be new missions, new careers (Bush pilot in Africa or the carrying climbers in the Himalayas), sound packs, etc. There is a big enough piece of the pie for everyone, MS to the third parties. Just my two cents..

One can only have such dreams.I really think that would be fantastic but MS of course likely wouldn't implement something like that unless that the users wanted it.

Part of the career type missions mentioned above are already in Flight.

Mmh, thankfully career type stuff can be bought for FSX too, for example Fspassengers and few others do it very well.

Hm, I also read somewhere FSPassenger/Air Hauler like stuff is implemented in Flight already...? Maybe not as advanced, though...

I thought also that in one of the monthly vids it was mentioned about "flying jobs" - probably not the traditional climb the ladder career, but some missions loosely tied together maybe?

Since I am a beta tester I can't divulge details, but I can say the general gist of your idea/vision is not too far off.

Also who knows what's in the plans for the future.

I totally agree with you dighost Meee Tooo

I think you and many others will be quite surprised (in a pleasant way) at the Missions that're in Flight.

He is talking about the part that is not already in flight ...

Totally agree. I was quite pleased with one of them in particular due to the "real-world-training" type of aspect involved with the "instructor."Recently, I have become much more open minded in regards to Flight. I am excited to see where we end up.
