March 9, 201214 yr Author Here are some shots of my panelIt is a little tricky trying to get a good shot of the VC panels as I run FS Shade which puts shade or sunshine on the interior of the plane as it moves around. The panel being set back under the glare shield is a little darker than the rest of the shot.Stock MAAM VCNorm's VCNorm's 2D Just before I go and spend yet more of what little cash I have... what are your opinions on the exterior sound? March 9, 201214 yr I am rather new at this site and would like to ask a question. What do you think about the sound of the maam dc3?is it good and are there members who has made them more realistic?any remarks are welcome.I bought it after I tried the JF one demo.I didnot like the VC due to the fact the zooming gives me all type of problems in view like to big bars between the windows. paula
March 9, 201214 yr The exterior sound is very good, in my opinion, but I am not sure about what you are asking. In spot view, I pan around the plane with the engines running, nothing in the sound seems to change, as the plane is always straight ahead. In the cockpit when I start the right engine I hear those sounds through my right speaker, then as I start the left one, I hear those sounds in my left speaker. With both engines running the sound seams to be surrounding me. In spot view on take off the sound is awesome, particularly if you have a sub woofer in your system. And if you don't like that default sound, there are probably a dozen freeware sound files out there to choose from, at least. Apart from the 737, the DC-3/C-47 probably is the plane with more free addons than any other. Take a look at Cal Classics, DC-3 Airways, Buffalo Airways virtual web sites and of course here at AVSIM and several other sites. There are many. many addons that are compatible with the MAAM product.
