March 17, 201214 yr Come on now matey, is their any specific rule all posts have to pertain to NGX specific subjects only. Maybe I hae missed that one.Obviously the OP is a keen NGX pilot and would just like to let people know how much he enjoyed the video, even though Airbus related, and simply asked for other peoples opinions. Besides, a fair bit of othe video would contain information, such as flight planning, nav procedures, etc which would be of benefit to any pilot, Airbus or not.Really, posts such as yours, I am sure we could do without. What I would say is, if you have nothing to add to the OP's, why bother posting at all? If you really don't have anything, just don't bother following the thread. These type of posts may hinder other users wanting to post other info, just because they may be objected to, and spoil their usage of the forum and all it's good benefits.By the way, whilst I have not got that video, and seen only the preview online, I have read the review and it seems that it should be very worthwile getting hold of, if you enjoy that sort of material. Really gald you have enjoyed your purchase and don't be put off.Still it is not relevant to that forum. So quit making a book about something that would have taken 2 seconds for the person's brain to work out that it should have been posted to HANGAR CHAT!!!!

March 17, 201214 yr Diego that pic made me laugh... :LMAO:Ah-hem...I have over 175 JPV DVD's in my collection. Some are good, a few are not. MOST are GREAT! The new Blu-Rays are mind blowing with detail (over an hour devoted to the fight planning operations alone on the ACA Polar BRD/DVD)http://www.virtual-s...R/Have_list.htmI find the newer DVD's are better for us simmers, they focus more on the cockpit and pre flight. Some of the older DVD's have you looking out the window and passenger views....(not a big fan of that)Some good NG ones:ArkeflyTuiflySASLaudaGOLNG fans gotta own these ones. As well, Viking Aviation Photo has a fantastic Kenya 737-800 DVD. Tommy Mogren used to film for JPV and now has his own series. His DVD's are also very well done.... Al Stiff
March 25, 201214 yr Commercial Member 175, holy crap!! I own one, the Swissair MD-11 from Zurich to Buenos Aires. It's pretty dry material, but interesting nonetheless. I personally use it to help understand complex payware, so would appreciate more cockpit work and more in-depth talks instead of seeing how the bursar pours coffee and other non-flying things. March 25, 201214 yr I've got about 40 of these. In fact I have most of them for sale, so must get them on the new Classifieds thingy here! Some are brilliant (Cougar 727, Nordic Regional MD-80, Martinair MD-11F), and others can be poor (The Goodjet A320 has to be the worst; just nothing going on). They're brilliant and a must for any airline aviation fan. :( David. >> i7 2600k, 3.4Ghz, (3.8Ghz TurboBoost), 8GB DDR3 RAM, ATI HD 5770 1GB, Win 7 Home Premium 64bit. >> FSX, REX, GEX, UTX, Orbx FTX AU, NZ, US, FlyTampa, UK2000 Xtreme, PMDG, RealAir, MilViz, (some) Carenado, Flight 1, Simcheck "%20alt=
March 25, 201214 yr Yup, I've got a few cockpit DVDs, and I agree, when I buy one, I want the footage to be in the cockpit, explaining what all the stuff does and how they use it. I'm sure all the cabin crew work very hard and I appreciate what they do, but I don't really require a technical explanation of how to push a trolley up an aisle and pour someone a cup of tea, worthy though that task is. Fortunately, most of the ones I have tend to stay in the cockpit.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

March 30, 201214 yr I am sorry for putting it here, but i want to discuss about it with all the NGX useres(:Daniel,Don't mind what the 1 percent had to say about you posting in the wrong category. No and what has this topic got to do with the NGX ?Please leave moderation to the moderators. These type of posts may hinder other users wanting to post other info, just because they may be objected to, and spoil their usage of the forum and all it's good benefits.Thank you Richard for being positive and standing up for this user.Seriously? You mean other the the fact that this is called the PMDG 737NGX forum and that a seperate forum exists called the PMDG General Forum? Please leave moderation to the moderators.Still it is not relevant to that forum. March 30, 201214 yr One of the best Justplanes dvd's (in my opinion!) Is the Air Atlanta Icelandic 747 400 Luxembourg to Singapore. The pilot is very thorough in his explanations and clearly focussed on his job. And one can see two or three copilots flying the a/c. One is very hamfisted and doesn't fly an approach correctly. Another on the leg to Singapore is fluid, smooth and precise. Very much on the ball!vololiberista Super VC10 into LOWI with PF3 at a cinema near you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=298UDyNmgUA
