March 18, 201214 yr HiI think that on the little box that shows the reputation of a post (for example, red on -1 or green for +1) you should be able to click on it, then it would show a list of people who agreed or disagreed with the post. I think it would be cool. i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
March 18, 201214 yr Diego,The only person, to my knowledge, that currently has access to that information is the owner of the post being rated (by means of an automatically triggered e-mail when a vote takes place). For an example, I rated your post and you should receive something. If not, I'm probably confusing this with the old rating system. At any rate, your suggestion will be noted although we don't do the coding of these add-ons ourselves. Oh well, disregard. i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
March 18, 201214 yr That's news to me then. Now I know! I'll pass this on to IT and see if there's any setting for that. March 25, 201214 yr Commercial Member I wouldn't mind seeing reputation be completely anonymous. I can envision (in some extreme, immature circumstances) people discovering who rated their posts negatively, then chasing down those forums members and arbitrarily downvoting their posts as well. March 25, 201214 yr Commercial Member Hi alljust tried the vote system myself. I UPped Diegos original post (it would've been mean to vote DOWN).Then, I clicked on the Reputation box and a little popup box appeared and it showed that Chase and I have given Diego up votes (see attached pic) www.antsairplanes.com
March 25, 201214 yr Author Oh well, I like it that way. It shows you who disagrees with you. i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
March 26, 201214 yr Yeah, with the upgrade came that neat feature to see who voted you up or down. I wouldn't mind seeing reputation be completely anonymous. I can envision (in some extreme, immature circumstances) people discovering who rated their posts negatively, then chasing down those forums members and arbitrarily downvoting their posts as well.I hope better judgement prevails and we don't see this type of scenario. Only time will tell I'm afraid. March 26, 201214 yr I hope better judgement prevails and we don't see this type of scenario. Only time will tell I'm afraid.Judgement didn't have much to do with it. Those switch settings were about 240 or so that were changed in the upgrade. It took the old dude a day or so to realize that was one of the changes. I believe that is now resolved.
March 26, 201214 yr Moderator Oddly enough, Chase's post #4 showed 0 in the total box, but two people had +1'd the post!It wasn't until I added my own +1 to the post that the correct total of 3 was displayed... Fr. The score went down to 3 and I could still see who had voted. 4 ups and 1 down (mine).Diego's (linux731) original post now shows a rep of 0 but clicking on the rep will show how people have voted, chase's and my earlier up votes and captKorndog's down. It seems that you can only see an actual rep score if you vote on something and even then if you come back to the post the next day (or later on) the rep score will go back to displaying 0. You can still see how people voted by clicking on the rep score though. www.antsairplanes.com
