March 20, 201214 yr Will I be able to fly a jet from Honolulu to the Grand Canyon? If so, I may consider downloading Flight. Chris Hicks
March 20, 201214 yr You have not even downloaded FLIGHT? Why are you here, just to complain about no jets and long-haul boring push button flights from point A to point B? Lots of other places you can do that, you know!
March 20, 201214 yr You`re wrong. Next is Australia. We have two livery from Australian Navy, one for the Stearman, one for the RV6A.
March 20, 201214 yr Will I be able to fly a jet from Honolulu to the Grand Canyon? If so, I may consider downloading Flight.Going by the avsim interview: no, you won't. You`re wrong. Next is Australia. We have two livery from Australian Navy, one for the Stearman, one for the RV6A. I think you're missing an ''I think" at the beginning of your statement ;). All of Australia sounds a bit much, so the question becomes: what parts of Australia. Combining that with Joshua Howard's statements, what new types of flying experience would (parts of) Australia offer that Hawai and Alaska don't?That's my guess (hope)bestjakeCan you say Lukla or Courcheval with proper sloped runways :). We can but hope I guess. John-Alan Pascoe
March 20, 201214 yr Actually, Papua New Guinea would be a fun addition. Valleys obscured by clouds, the hallans (highlands) would be a challenge, and spoken audio using tok pisin (PNG's form of pigeon English). I'd buy that DLC.
March 20, 201214 yr LuklaYes please!!! And a Twin Otter, please =)And Frank, so would I. The Highlands of PNG would be a big draw for me..I just didn't think it would be very high on MS' list..have you seen the youtube video of the Pilatus doing tng's in PNG? Awesome..Check this out: bestjakewhat new types of flying experience would (parts of) Australia offer that Hawai and Alaska don't?Collecting coins over Sydney Harbour? Oh, sorry that was that sim FSX..remember that? JAKE EYREIt's a small step from the sublime to the ridiculous...Napoleon Bonaparte

It's a shame everyone always remembers that one and not the NDB/DME into Innsbruck or the deadstick landing in the Swiss Alps, or the Alaska Cargo Run.Actually I think PNG would fit in quite well with the type of flying we have in Flight, but in terms of flying experience I think it would overlap with Alaska (bush flying, bad weather). Would still be awesome though. John-Alan Pascoe
March 20, 201214 yr I just love the deadstick landing in the Swiss Alps. I keep going back to that one. Kind of what FLIGHT is all about I think. My kind of seat of the pants flying. I have not missed that landing yet!
March 20, 201214 yr Yes I do, one of the weaker missions. It's a shame everyone always remembers that one and not the NDB/DME into Innsbruck or the deadstick landing in the Swiss Alps, or the Alaska Cargo Run.hey John,I do remember those, and the re-supply mission..Loved them all..I was only making the point that FSX was a "game" too, and the fact that Flight has coins isn't why I'm "annoyed" with it (I haven't collected a single coin in Flight yet, and I only played the Sydney one once!)But yes, PNG would be hard, but then as I said on their forum: why always try for the lowest common denominator? My 10-year old _loves_ Flight. he doesn't want to fly any challenges, he just wants to master cross-wind landings!bestjake JAKE EYREIt's a small step from the sublime to the ridiculous...Napoleon Bonaparte
March 20, 201214 yr Yes, Frank..That's the kind of stuff I want in Flight..Off to email them that link ^_^bestjake JAKE EYREIt's a small step from the sublime to the ridiculous...Napoleon Bonaparte

March 20, 201214 yr For some reason, I keep thinking the Northeast part of the Mediterranean... maybe spanning from the Southern Alps and Italy, through Greece and the Balkans...
