March 21, 201214 yr Hi,Perhaps if we express our views in a non-judgmental way and remember that it's only our perspective, it would be far more productive. Saying "I don't like it" , or " I think the VC is not very good for the money " as opposed to a universal statement such as 'it's trash, it's terrible', etc. That way we have to own our perspective as OURS only and not speak out believing our word is final and oh-so important. Then again, we can also not take things personally if someone calls something 'junk', remembering that it's only his/her view and nothing more. To me it only reflects the sender's thoughts and not a thing more.Anyway, I appreciate all the input about this product as I was curious too...cheers, i7-9700K, MSI Z370, PNY 4070 Super, GTX 750Ti, 32GB GSkill, 43" curved Samsung, 32" BenQ, 11" LED, RealSImGear GTN750, Win10, P3DV5.4/P3DV6 and MSFS, several GoFlight modules, Saitek radio, Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke, Virtual Fly TQ6.
March 21, 201214 yr Perhaps if we express our views in a non-judgmental way and remember that it's only our perspectiveGreg,Whatever gets posted on a forum is always one's opinion. Now, no matter how you say things *if* people do not like what you have to say they will always tell you that : you are wrong, you have an agenda, you are passing judgement, you are rude and you don't know what you are talking about or you're a shill and work for another dev (competitor) and/or you should reword your post.I offered my opinion and I stand by what/how I said things. If people do not like it they can ignore it and move on.
March 21, 201214 yr Author Any chance that you could post up some screens please Chock?I've purchased it, but an issue with my bank details means that my payment needs to be authorised grr! LOL

It just remains apparent to me so many folks take offense as if they've been attacked, when in fact, they have not. Thus, forum battles begin. March 21, 201214 yr Author Right Chock, few questions for you :)I've now got the aircraft and quabbling in this thread aside I really like it! The visual model is fantastic, very accruate and detailed, textures look nice and the VC actually looks better than it does in the screenshots (My opinion)But Chock, do you find the steering on the ground sloppy and the aircraft moves by itself? I'm find the aircraft will add power on its own...?
March 21, 201214 yr Hround handling is not the best I've ever seen, but seems to be okay to me providing you use the condition levers on the right settings and bear in mind the lag on turbos. I actually really rather like it, the systems simulation is more sophisticated than I thought it would be. I'm glad I bought it.AlHround handling is not the best I've ever seen, but seems to be okay to me providing you use the condition levers on the right settings and bear in mind the lag on turbos. March 21, 201214 yr I asked in VirtualCol and they say that the fact of loosing control with ground handling is due not turning on hidraulic pumps properly to make brake works ok. They say that will send an updated manual this week with this information. April 25, 201214 yr Hopefully this will help.... I did a quick review on this aircraft. Hopefully it will be helpful... Just uploaded today! http://airdailyx.blogspot.com/2012/04/virtualcol-jetstream-our-own.html ((-D'))
April 25, 201214 yr Wow that looks like junk. I agree, especially when I saw the view out the passenger window. It's supposed to be an oval shape for the window-- not a hex..... sheesh.
April 25, 201214 yr Commercial Member I agree, especially when I saw the view out the passenger window. It's supposed to be an oval shape for the window-- not a hex..... sheesh. Still as a whole this product is great. And last time I checked FSX was meant to simulate flying an airplane instead of being a passenger. If I want to be a passenger I buy real ticket.
April 25, 201214 yr And last time I checked FSX was meant to simulate flying an airplane instead of being a passenger. Okay sport.

Just uploaded today! http://airdailyx.blo...am-our-own.html ((-D')) Taking a look at your pics, seems like the external and internal were made by two different guys. The quality of the external model is rather nice, but the interior lacks a lot of quality, like they left some parts at the sketch level (yoke for instance). Mateusz Kapusta
April 25, 201214 yr It is actually a good simulation of the real thing. And to be honest, when I get zoomed into the position I normally fly it from in the VC, the appearance is adequate. I actually use this as one of my main transport aircraft in Air Hauler now, simply because it is such a good simulation of the aircraft, sure, I'd like it to have a prettier VC, but it is the simulation which really matters in a flight simulator, not the eye candy, if I want eye candy, I'll jump to the external view, since that is in fact rather well done on this thing. If I have one complaint about the VC which I would say is totally legitimate from a usability standpoint, it would be the animation of the switches on the overhead, which is rather poor and makes it difficult to tell which way the switch is positioned, but on the other hand, that means you really do need to run the checklists! I do have the PMDG J41, but the J31 is a very different aircraft, and so it is nice to have this one as well. Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
April 26, 201214 yr I completely agree with Chock in this one. Having a lot of fun flying it over Venezuelan´s airports ... nice little plane!
