London Calling: BAW 218 – DEN to LHR

Featured Replies

Hey everybody! Yesterday I found some time to do my flight from Denver to London Heathrow. This is what came out of it. Or at least a little preview. Enjoy, the full report can be found in my blog again: London Calling: BAW 218 – DEN to LHRYAFSS_1907-1.jpgYAFSS_1971.jpgYAFSS_2002.jpgYAFSS_2036.jpgYAFSS_2277.jpgYAFSS_2335.jpgYAFSS_2342.jpgYAFSS_2444-1.jpg

What 777 model is this ?

The PSS. I know, the exterior lacks a lot of things. But I'd rather have a great VC (with modified textures) and good functionality / flight dynamics than nice looks on the outside. The Posky looks great from outside, yes. But I never got it to work 100% right. I tried various Merges, and my biggest problem with it is the promising VC that's ruined by all those stupid sun visors all over the place and a far from real MCP...

Hmmmm you made the PSS work on FSX? Care to share how did you do it?

Haha, noo! That's good ol' FS9.

Ouch! that must'a hurt.

Lovely set....time I took her for a spin myself. :Applause:

Don´t drool me with the 777...

Thanks! Reading about all the confusion on which sim this is, you could think my FS9 has multiple personalities.

It's just FS9, unedited shots with REX, ASE, UT, GE and so on and some enbseries. But I'm almost flattered that you guys think this is FSX or X-Plane, haha.

Darth, that's exactly what made me choose this title. Listened to the live version during touchdown...

Lovely shots!!

Those are really great, Max, and like you I find that I prefer to fly the PSS external model over the Posky merge, especially with those upgraded VC textures, even though the Posky looks far better. There are a lot of recent repaints available for the PSS which really help its external appearance, also.

Thanks everybody!

Yea, exactly. I rarely look at the plane from the outside anyway, just for the pic reports mostly...

Where do you find these new repaints? I found it to be very hard to find good repaints for the PSS...
