April 5, 201214 yr Author Steve, All is well at the Ledford homestead, all we had was heavy rain. It did look bad there for a good while. Last year we had a hail storm that required a roof change. That's the price you pay for living in Texas! Looking fwd to the new paints...FSX isn't all that bad. LOL Steve, All is well at the Ledford homestead, all we had was heavy rain. Looking fwd to the new paints...FSX isn't all that bad. LOL That's great to hear Jay! We got a new roof last year when a huge storm visited I our house in Marietta. Yeah I'm starting to really like FSX... and now that I've figured out how to paint in FSX... well....hehe. I don't think I'll ever give up on fs9 because I'm so used to it ... but I`ll probably start flying in Fsx more and more. I`ll give ya a call tonight and see if we can get together this weekend. April 6, 201214 yr Moderator I hear ya cmpbellsju! I was in the hospital at Preston and George Bush (won't mention the name but you know it, hehe)....and we had a "Code Black" which tells the staff that a tornado is in the immediate area and we need to get the patient's in the hallways away from the windows! We had some nervous patients and families there for a while. FYI....some of the other codes at this facility....Code Pink, baby taken from the nursery without consent. Code Orange, hazmat situation. Code Brown...well...not what you'd think it was! :LMAO: Did you see that video WFAA kept running...showing the tractor-trailers flying through the air like toys? Pretty amazing that nobody was killed! Oh my, yeah I know that hospital well. I don' know if you knew it, but that hospital was actually a driving range years ago prior to the property being sold a turn into the hospital. I used to hit balls there often and actually only live about 5 minutes from there. Anyway, good to hear that nothing bad happened to you or the hospital. It's cool to know there are quite a few simmers here in the Dallas area. I know another guy from here who works for an airline over at DFW and is also a pretty active simmer. Of course we all knew David "Opa" Marshall prior to his passing also live her in Plano. Take care, Sean Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

Yeah there seems to be quite a few simmers here in Dallas. Maybe they need to have the next Avsim conference here. I'm only at Plano until tomorrow then I have to head back to corporate downtown next week to conduct some training. Gonna' miss Plano, the staff is great here!
