Hey if you want to buy an R/C aircraft in Flight go ahead, I certainly will not be, If i wanted a good R/C game I would buy AeroFly FS which looks a whole lot better overall and has tons more content than Flight.

Please be precise. Actually Aerofly FS is the "normal" flight sim, it also have cockpits. If you want simulate R/C the product is just Aerofly (without FS):

No Arwen!... You are a Great Moderator, have a Great Blog with interesting/useful information about FLIGHT, and your original "FLIGHT will be GOOD!" post made be consider buying FLIGHT.

You have the right to express you oppinion, just like any other, and we all should better be playing this great "Flight Simulation Game" FLIGHT is :-)

"FLIGHT SIMULATION GAME"

Instead of being here discussing the "Sex of Angels" like we say in Portugal... we should be enjoying FLIGHT, preferably online :-)

Looking forward for ALSKA and for your and other hints when it gets released!!!!!

And just how have I lowered my standards by being honest?

"Held to a higher standard" has a legal definition that has nothing to do with anyone's personal standards. Part of the higher standard moderators are held to includes the knowledge that they are being held to a higher standard.

Some forums will have a written standard of conduct for their official representatives (such as the moderators), some don't and you're just expected to know. If there is none for Avsim, then look on another forum as they're all very similar.

Arwen, my statement wasn't anything like you thought it was. It wasn't even intended as a criticism of you, even indirectly. I've done my share of moderator duties, and various other customer support functions, and in every case I was always conscious of the higher standards I was being held to. I'm sure the same is the case with you.

Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;

Hook, the only legal definition for a person being "held to a higher standard" that I'm aware of (and I was a Legal Studies major) has to do with the treatment of someone who is injured . . . where a doctor (or nurse or other health care professional) is held to a higher standard of care than the average person. I was also a varsity athlete in college, and we were held to higher standards (as in being an example, since we represented our university). The later is the way I took your reply, and I don't see that my response could be construed as me setting a bad example as a moderator.

I only saw the one from Arwen, which is why I was dumbfounded, I was going to reply, so did manage to save a copy - but since it is gone now, will let it remain that way.

Hey, posting mistakes are posting mistakes, and Murphy's Law always seems to apply in direct porpotion to where and when it can do the most damage!

Hey J van E. If you get lonesome waiting for Alaska, you can always read about your x and it might rekindle some old flames.

That link takes me to the Avsim main page. Should it bring me to the Orbx-forum or something like that...? :wink:

Wow, awesome review! And a deserved Gold Star Award!!! Well, I did give it a try some time ago and even though the plane is awesome, it wasn't enough to bring me back to FSX...

Thanks. Glad you enjoyed the review.
