April 15, 201214 yr If I am not wrong, the OP (Alex) has stated somewhere** that he is only 14 years of age so it's not really arrogance but inexperience. ( so maybe it's time to give the kid a break ? He is only trying to be helpful. ) Fred is absolutely correct. Alex previously stated he was 14. So chill out guys. Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.

April 15, 201214 yr Alex is the future of flight simming. He's also a valuable resource... if you want to know how the younger people feel about Flight and flight simming in general, and how it compares to other games, just ask him. His enthusiasm and optimism are refreshing. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
April 15, 201214 yr Oh don't worry about it Alex... just use it as a "learning experience" to... "think before you snack" I mean act... On a positive note, you have given me another hilarious line to use with Delafina... after "you are my density" I think I will try "we betas are the backbone of your success". :LMAO: (btw seriously... I do think I get what you were trying to say... it just could have have been said a bit better... just ask Hilary Rosen :Big Grin: ) Just roll with it... we all say nutty stuff from time to time. Don't get too bent out of shape and if all possible, learn to laugh at yourself / something you have said... Alex is the future of flight simming. He's also a valuable resource... if you want to know how the younger people feel about Flight and flight simming in general, and how it compares to other games, just ask him. His enthusiasm and optimism are refreshing. +1 there Hook.

He's also a valuable resource... if you want to know how the younger people feel about Flight and flight simming in general, and how it compares to other games, just ask him. His enthusiasm and optimism are refreshing. Hook fyi, Hook. I was a beta tester for Flight. I found out something funny and that is that I first fell in love with Aviation when I was in Grade 3 (2005). Then somehow, I got bored of it and stopped talking about it in Grade 4 (2006). I think that was the time that ACES stopped making Flight Simulators for Microsoft. After 3 years past, in the summer of 2010, I found myself flying to Florida for a vacation with my family. That's when I fell in love with planes again. After I came back home, I went looking for a Flight Simulator, and sure enough, I found FSX. After flying for a few hours, I got addicted and searched youtube for some channels making FSX videos. I found the Cessna154 Channel, which is a great channel. That same year in August, I found myself saying ##### as Microsoft decided to come back to Flight and create a whole new game of it. The whole reason why I'm saying this is because I feel like Microsoft has been watching my every move. After I stopped loving aviation, Microsoft stopped making Flight Simulators. Then after I got in love with it again, Microsoft came back and made a whole new Flight Simulator. To me, it feels like that people want to help me be successful in my life. As I am a Canadian Air Cadet right now, I am learning to become a better leader in my part to make everyone else's better. Hope to see you soon and hope that Microsoft becomes the leader of Flight Simulation again. (Microsoft, use Sim Savvy's Scenery. They're the best. http://www.fspilotshop.com/product_info.php?products_id=3026&osCsid=bc3189ff63cf29a74bdb43bd540c0342) @Great Ozzie: I'm glad I helped you create new ideas! No problem. April 16, 201214 yr Yes I am 14 and Yes I am still learning how to keep positive on all circumstances no matter how hard it is to do so. Keep posting. I applaud the initiative you are taking in supporting Flight and this community. I can't get my 14 year old son away from World of Warcraft long enough to fly, but then he is organizing and leading large group raids. I will convert him one of these days.
April 16, 201214 yr Author I will convert him one of these days. Give him some Jet-A fuel and he might. Alex Leung Aerospace Engineering Undergraduate Glider & Private Pilot via Royal Canadian Air Cadets
April 16, 201214 yr Well I am not going to get into this 'discussion' It seems to have split into two themes - one about whether or not there should be a forum that has limited membership and the other about announcing a change. For the avoidance of doubt I have it on good authority that the announcements were made in this order: Flight Website Facebook Beta Forum It was also rolled out to other forums - some by the Flight Team and others by folks passing it along as a service to folks who might not yest have seen it via other channels This whole thread seems to revolve around a post by someone who saw it in the Beta Forum and thought it good to pass it on. Clealry a mistake. I wonder if y'all would be jousting away if Alex had reported it from the Website or from Facebook - both of which were there first? April 16, 201214 yr Update is now live. I just got prompted to install it when I started up Flight. Both my Aerocache count and the AotD count both went up. I've quit out and restarted it and the count is correct. Looks like all the aerocaches that we've picked up after the patch aren't counting. Oh well. 17 more days to get the 50.

Hello Reki, welcome to the AVSIM forums. Im glad you got the update and the daily aerocache. So you now have version 1.0.1.30029. I read over at Flight's page or facebook that they were going to try to implement a way to recollect the missed aerocaches, but I might be wrong. Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
April 16, 201214 yr Kudos to the Flight team for addressing this issue and getting the update pushed out so quickly! Don B
April 17, 201214 yr I read over at Flight's page or facebook that they were going to try to implement a way to recollect the missed aerocaches, but I might be wrong. I hope they do, I diligently logged in every day and made sure I got the aerocache. Racing some friends to 50 there's a beer for the winner.
