AIRAC Nav Data Currency Issue

Featured Replies

Hello all. First post here... Returning from nearly 30 years of absence from the sim community. subLogic Flight Simulator II for the Apple //e. Yikes!

HELP... I downloaded the newest airac data from navigraph for PMDG (PMDG_1204), got it installed... The FMS shows the proper dates but the scratchpad is showing the nav data is not current. I saw a post where someone suggested the fmc_ident.txt file should be changed, but it appears as follows:

[ident]

NavData=AIRAC-1204

OpProgram=APR05MAY02/12

CoData=EAG-1204

Looks OK to me. Any ideas to make the pesky message disappear? I know it's cosmetic but it makes me wonder whether I have the update properly installed.

Thanks.

Jeff.

Hello Jeff and welcome back to the fold.

Is the sim date current, ie not a saved flight from outside the AIRAC cycle?

1204 is current .

Hi Jeff,

This problem started (on my computer) after the installation of SP1C.

I buy a new cycle, but the message still keeps coming up. Even with new flights.

It is annoying, but I click it away and it does no harm.

Regards.

Same here with the current AIRAC, same solution

No problems at all here with 1204. As someone above asked - is your date in FSX and your computer's system date correct?

System date & time and FSX date & time in sync

Thank you all for your replies. My date and time are correct on the system and appear synchronized in FSX. I will, likely, just leave it be for now... Thanks again.

Happened to update to AIRAC 1204 earlier today and no problem with FMC Ident. Did AIRAC install correctly?

Mine AIRAC is in \FlightsimX\PMDG\Navdata.

OK, so I checked when I restarted and the date/time WAS off in FSX... Going to get FS RealTime and that should do it. The reset worked for now. :Peace:
