AA has the same policy towards catering items, they forbid you from taking a can of coke off even if it was offered by the FA.

So i'm not the only doing that hehe!!

Is it easy for you to take them, or do you have to be veeeery discrete, because pictures are forbidden (as in my case) ?

Ever see an GE90 igniter?

The pen is here to show the size of the thing (pretty much larger than those on CF6-80 on CFM56)

This is how it looks like when beeing in an engine...

Hi, Nice Pictures, to what does the igniter connects?

Thanks

Awesome pictures, guys. Those 777F for FedEx must be very clean, since only pilots are allowed inside.

Since there is a galley, do the pilots fix themselves or is there a flight attendant there with them? :LMAO:

i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB

just to add, each main landing gear of the 777 has an after axle steering system. Main gear aft axle steering automatically operates when the nose wheel steering angle exceeds 13 degrees to reduce tire scrubbing. Main gear aft axle steering is powered by the center hydraulic system.

Ooops, forgot to answer.

The igniter you see is mounted directly on the engine. On this igniter (2 per engine), you connect the ignition power plugs, big shielded (and sometimes vented) cables, running to the ignition high power boxes, generating the ignition spark (lightning should I say :D ).

Thoses igniters make the "TAC TAC TAC TAC" you can hear when a jet engine is starting.

Cheers :)

Pilots and load crew when loading. Jumpeaters (like when the guy from NBC did a documentary in a FE 777). MX when needed!

At EWR they get a cooler with more than enough food/drink in it and they just eat when they are ready. The FA must be hiding with the Segway cause I never see her! :)
