NGX-LIVE Goes Live..

Featured Replies

Good morning,

As I'm sure most of you are aware of my recent addition to FS. I have been working on a new site and Teamspeak server for pilots to interact online with each other while flying there NGX & using there FS2crew addons. The website address is below and is now LIVE! !

http://www.ngx-live.co.uk --- It is free to register..

The way it works is as follows: Gamespy and/or external services are not needed as you're not required to join an online session.

This reduces the amount of problems experienced when flying online and enables the pilot to fly without any issues, which uses all addons to their full potential.

** BUT I NEED TO MAKE THIS VERY CLEAR, THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL FS2CREW PRODUCT IT WILL BE MANAGED BY MYSELF ONLY **

  • Track each other on the FS2CREW ONLINE TRACKER
  • Chatting to your friends while cruising at high altitudes
  • Sharing flight plans * Routes...
  • Making new friends

Plus lots more, all I will ask is that everyone respects each other, it is just for fun remember that... !!!! I know there are alot of people I chat to on the Avsim forum that would be great to chat to online.

Regards Steve . . .

Excellent work Steve.

Seriously jump on this guys myself and Steve flew together down to LEIB last night and had a great time chatting about all things NGX/FS2crew. this really adds something extra to those hours spent at Cruise. comparing flight plans, procedures and stories its all good.

Great work Steve. I will no doubt, not get the chance to try it, as I live near the south pole, I am sleeping while most of you are flying. Wish you the best of luck with the project.

Thank you very much my friend.... Steve

Hey guys,

just want to warm you all up for this nice initiative. I had a flight on VATSIM last night with the NGX (using FS2Crew voice edition) and in the same time I was chatting to Steve on his teamspeak channel. It was a very nice experience and sure does take away some of the boredom when cruising outside of VATSIM covered areas and when the FS2CREW First Officer is taking his usual nap...

So I encourage you all to get into this teamspeak channel whenever you're flying the NGX.

By the way, this is the way I have it set up

- One PTT button for VATSIM comms

- Another PTT button for Teamspeak comms

Both of these PTT buttons generate a FS2CREW Soft Mute when pushed and held, so FS2CREW doesn't take any commands while talking to either of those channels.

This soft mute is configured through LINDA, which I'm sure you all know about (if you don't, you can find it here in the AVSIM forums in the freeware support section)

Keep it up Steve !

Regards,
