December 16, 20169 yr ... and, DCS, is simply the most advanced flight simulator available, given the coverage of different aircraft types, from jet fighters to ww2 fighters and going through different types of rotary wing like no other sim does so well and realistically... There's only one alternative for ww2 fighters, and that has it's own forum here at AVSIM too, down bellow this one in the list :-) IL.2 and DCS changed my simmer habits for good, and it is now so difficult to find any thrill in playing XP that the most I can do is starting ELITE v9 and training SIDs and STARs using the new GTS equipment :-), but that's a different story! Ah! And DCS, IL.2 and ELITE all have the Moon correctly placed or any date, including it's phases ( simplified in DCS ) and perfect daylight for a date as well... just like in FSX, but even better given the superior graphic quality in the cases of DCS and IL.2...
