June 19, 201213 yr Ruin porn is a reference used by urban planners, particularly in Detroit, that describes a fascination with abandoned buildings. http://www.theatlant...-ruin-porn/886/ Anyway, I came across a couple sites with lots of pics from abandoned airfields and I thought some may be interested. http://weburbanist.c...raft-airplanes/ http://www.urbanghos...port-terminals/ MSFS Premium Deluxe Edition; Windows 11 Pro, I9-9900k; Asus Maximus XI Hero; Asus TUF RTX3080TI; 32GB G.Skill Ripjaw DDR4 3600; 2X Samsung 1TB 970EVO; NZXT Kraken X63; Seasonic Prime PX-1000, LG 48" C1 Series OLED, Honeycomb Yoke & TQ, CH Rudder Pedals, Logitech G13 Gamepad

June 21, 201213 yr Never heard it called 'ruin porn' before. Dereliction definitely does have aesthetic & emotional appeal though. For fans, the following link is the ultimate aim though... http://tour2chernobyl.com/ A whole town!
June 21, 201213 yr Great subject material with incredible pictures, however I altered the title of this thread. We don't need a pornea based word showing up in the search engines pointing at AVSIM. Kind regards,

June 22, 201213 yr Some of those buildings would make for great textures if your into modeling. Lot's of character. "One man's trash is.... Indeed they would. The Valve Software team used stuff like this for texturing much of the Ravenholme level in Half-Life 2. Just out of curiosity I pulled a large chunk of that level out as a single giant .obj format model, and you could see from the associated texture files that they'd been around a lot of old, wrecked places with a camera gathering graphic material for it.
