The second WIP screenshot looks amazing. Well, they all do, but that one is the best.

I looked again at what I had reported to be light coming through a seam by the small cabin door. Here is picture of what I saw-

Thanks for shedding more light (!) on this, Bill. Could it be that in Tower view this is a reflection of the cabin light, not seen when up close as in Spot? Lights seem to change size and intensity, too, with distance or View mode.

It might be a reflection. If you look at the aircraft in Tower view and then slew it in a circle, you will see that the light spot only appears at certain angles. In spot view I never see it from any distance as I look at it. In any case, It is no longer a problem that needs a solution. Thanks again for checking on it.

The Spectrum looks amazing...and quite odd. I bet Donald Douglas never in even his wildest dreams imagined that his DC-3 would ever look like the Spectrum in this picture.

Youtube video "Basler-BT-67-Turbo-67 Takeoff in HIROSHIMA airport"

Interesting footage of 2009 - massive acceleration, tail up in seconds, nice rate of climb, excited spectators clicking their cameras...

And for good measure "Basler over the Rockies", Dexter Poon's demo vid

Very nice promo video. Great combo of scenery, plane and music.

Everything is done, except the engines!

I saw mjahn correcting the GPS spot for the lighting, so maybe he can do the same for the rest of the radio stack.

OK, just changed that for the DIY "allblank" mdl at

Let me know whether this is any better.

I've just replaced the former all blank mdl file with your new one and received this. :unsure:The gauges are gone. Do I have to change some more or did I mix up something?

Sorry, my fault. Just uploaded a modified file.

Okay, thanks for fixing, now I have the daylight gauges back, but the night lighting isn't changed in regard to this previous setup.

Here's the current picture.

Thanks CoolP, another mod up now...

Still the same outcome at night, (too) bright gauges on the radio console. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. The day stuff works.

Well, you guys made such a nice aircraft that it finally persuaded me to learn how to paint one properly. Thanks to Manfred releasing the paint kit, I have been working on it for the last few days. Here's the work-in-progress:

If anyone remembers a previous post I made a while ago in this topic, this scheme is based on a real world Dakota G-AMPY which I believe is owned by Air Atlantique and based in Coventry, UK. Bear in mind that this is my first real attempt at a repaint so there are some imperfections if you look hard enough. Next I need to put the roundels and numbers on the wings but it might be the weekend before I get chance to come back to it.
