Glad you've made it. What a flight, but it seems like you did very well on the fuel.

Average speed: 188.5 kts GS

WOW. How did you get that fortunate into what usually is a stiff headwind? What altitude?

That speed was my ground speed, not my indicated airspeed. My usual IAS was 160-165 kts at 80% Tq. When I dropped down to 70% Tq, my IAS was about 155-160 kts.

Fortunately, the winds where mild (7-10 knots) and where mostly from the north until I got about 100 miles from Hawaii when I suddenly hit 20 kt headwinds. I think that is when the FSX Real Weather cut back in. There were no weather stations in the middle of the ocean, so RW gave me mild winds during most of the flight.

After taking off from KOAK, I climbed to 9,000' and cruised there until I was 35 miles from the Koko Head VOR.

I am going to post some screenshots soon.

I have posted several pictures in the Screenshot Forum of the Hawaii flight. Look for "Basler BT-67 shuttle flight to Hawaii" and "Basler BT-67 shuttle flight to Hawaii part 2". I could not fit all of the pictures into one post. Sorry.

Here is this weeks additions to the HD gauges. This replaces and updates all files from any previous release.

-> Download the ZIP file here <-

Extract the CAB file to \SimObjects\Airplanes\Basler_BT67\panel or \Gauges if you want to use these gauges with other aircraft.

The included panel.cfg will install all of the new HD gauges. It will overwrite any changes you may have made to the panel.cfg file. It is the panel.cfg that shipped with verison 2.

If you want to add them by hand make sure to change pixel_size=512,512 to pixel_size=1024,1024 in both [Vcockpit01] and [Vcockpit02]. You must replace the existing gauge references.

Example: Replace gauge15=Cessna208B_Basler!prop_rpm, 265,288,67,67 with gauge15=BT67_HD!prop_rpm, 267,289,66,66

I have resize and moved them around a bit so be sure to replace the whole line.

Also fixed a couple of bugs.

Beautiful! Thanks again for your work, I will try them later after I've landed in Brisbane. Edited. I've just loaded her up and I'm happy about two more HD gauges.

I've download v2 with the HD gauges (cool!)

Two Q's

1) Where is the guide for installing RXP units?

2) Where are the additional repaints?

To install the RXP gauges:

Step 1: Download this interior model:

Step 2:

Place the bt67_interior_DIY_allblank.MDL file into: \SimObjects\Airplanes\Basler_BT67\model.bt67_1

Step 3:

Open the model.cfg in \SimObjects\Airplanes\Basler_BT67\model.bt67_1 and change interior=BT67_interior to bt67_interior_interior=bt67_interior_DIY_allblank

Repeat this step for each model folder:

model.bt67_Fantasma (interior=..\model.bt67_1\BT67_interior to interior=..\model.bt67_1\bt67_interior_DIY_allblank)

model.bt67_ski (interior=..\model.bt67_1\BT67_interior to interior=..\model.bt67_1\bt67_interior_DIY_allblank)

Step 4:

Replace the following Vcockpit sections in your panel.cfg file:

This is assuming you have download the latest HD gauge package (version 3, released a couple of hours ago) available here: http://www.thiscellu...D_GAUGES_r3.zip

This is the configuration I am using. Here is my radio stack:

2) Where are the additional repaints?

To find the new repaints go to Cheese-Strike's (Daniel) web page: http://www.cheese-re...t-67-dc-3-turbo

He is posting links to all of the new repaints there.

Thanks.... I don't have the Wx radar... what should I do for that spot?

So clear! Wow - You guys just keep them coming! Did I say Thank You....??? Can anyone tell me why in the Airborne livery, the tires are smoking while just sitting still. It has been hot here, but not that bad! They continue to smoke when airborne. BTW, other liveries don't do that.

Thank you so much!

You could stick the default GPS or leave it blank

Hi,

I need help. I love this aircraft; everything works and flies very well. I tried it as shared cockpit and works very well indeed, but...

First, although the BAT switch is off, the annunciator panel is ON. Once is in flight and all procedures have completed, warning lights extinguish themselves.

Secondly, unless I use Ctrl+E, I cannot start the engines.

I'm using Vista64 with loads of memory and Saitek gear with simconnect (all switches correspond - great!).

Every other airplane or heli works as per the label in the tin, except the BT67 at start-up.

Your help is very much appreciated.
