Thank you very much mjahn. I'm more of the blend of functionality type compared to pretty looks type. Plusthe ability to use addon gauges. I see there are still 3D knobs in the VC_01, 02 areas, is this correct? I now have a knob in the middle of my Stec55 AP.

Thanks Rendi, model updated, knobs gone. Do show what you come up with.

Fixed. Thanks.

You guys are great! I've really enjoyed this discourse and the camaraderie among the pros..

DIY Panel is wonderful.. Thanks a million.

Manfred, what is this status indicator gauge that you have at the bottom of VC1?

Hm, looking good.

What you see down there is part of the original C208B annunciator gauge - at your disposal.

You may wish to update your VC_panel.dds - I have added it to the bugfix zip, it's now a sharpish 2048 texture and has no holes where the gauges used to be:

PS - update cab and cfg file, too (new ASI and AP annunciator)

Thanks for the fixes and enhancements.

Here's my panel. This is with RXP audio and transponder, CS weather radar and the King Air fuel flow gauges. RXP GPS for the rest.

Not the latest version though. I've resized the audio panel, so the WR got a bit smaller. Same for the ADF, which was reduced to give the transponder a bit more room.

Nice work on the new ASI and panel background with the placard. I also like the new magic six layout and the YD button. Very neat.

I'm sorry to say, but I won't be able to finish all planed textures till tomorrow (7 min left here in germany before friday)

There are some small difficulties with the bare metal BT-67 texture ... it's very complex to make it look real!

All other textures shown on my homepage will be online sometime tomorrow ;)

Hey gang, if you don't have the Aerosoft Antarctica X scenery package you can buy it today at PC Aviator or $21.97 (download) or wait until Tuesday and get an additional 10% off (most likely). Sale ends July 19th. This pack covers the whole continent and has custom landclass data and some Landsat satellite imagery. Has 7 major research stations, 47 runways/skiways and helipads. Has 3 icebreakers running and special sounds and animations. It even comes with a ski equipped DHC-6 Twin Otter if you don't have that package already. Has seasons - ice, more ice, all ice and iced over.

Antarctica X is one of the most technological advanced sceneries ever created. Should make a great stomping grounds for the BT-67.

This is 40% off the US price. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=_1oBJfsv0Xg

Not connected in any way, shape or form to the developer or Aerosoft, I just like a good deal and like to know about them in time to get in on the action.

Would it be possible to get a DIY panel without the 3d gps bezel and knobs? This way the click spots on the Reality XP units would work without having to use the popup windows.

Thanks for all your hard work! This plane has been fun.

The 20 to 30 or so posts are precisely about that subject, and there was even a link posted to a version that has exactly what you asked for...

It's OK, the current DIY model still has the two 3D Garmins. But I am not sure what poster KOXR means by removing bezel and knobs. There are 14 buttons, 4 knobs, a casing and a screen in the 530. It's the screen only that's linked to the panel.cfg. Do you want just two display screens, one for the 430, one for the 530? I'd need the dimensions for these and the VC_xx sections of the panel.cfg then, I guess.

Revised Fuel Flow has now been added to the cabfile in the Bugfix zip (url in post 156).

We are getting second thoughts about the Yaw Damper button. Apart from it being nice to have does the BT-67 actually have it? We'll check this with our contacts but if anybody here has inside info then please post.

If ever there was an example of how much the FS community has embraced and supported a beautiful piece of freeware, this thread is it! All one has to do is start at the beginning of this thread and methodically follow its path to get a real feel for just how much admiration and respect exists here for this aircraft and the effort its design team put forth to create it. Nothing in my mind exemplifies the excitement and approval of this community for a product better than the evident willingness and desire of the members here to participate in its improvement.

Makes me proud to be a virtual pilot! Thanks to you all!

John
