July 18, 201213 yr :-( poor me - only like civilian flight simulators.... Me too. I thought Take On was a civilian 'simulator'...?
July 18, 201213 yr Me too. I thought Take On was a civilian 'simulator'...? Yes it is, but I was referring to the many tittles on promotion today.... I might consider TakeOn, but DCS BlackShark has long been on my wishlist, although version 2 is still not available through Steam I believe.... Many flight simmers also like train simulation. I bought MS Train Simulator long ago. I even thought it would some day be merged with MSFS.... How far I was from the real thruth... July 18, 201213 yr Sorry If I get this wrong, I originally had MS Flight on one of my computers which I downloaded from GFWL, I bought the rest of Hawaii and the Maule on that computer through GFWL (will not support cockpit-less planes), I now have a new computer and Im downloading MS Flight through Steam, If I want to reinstall the add-ons I bought earlier, do I just re-download them through my GFWL account? Also do you lose all your in-game awards when installing MS Flight on a different computer? I know the achievements stay, but do the awards also sync along with your flight time and all that info Thanks
July 18, 201213 yr Also do you lose all your in-game awards when installing MS Flight on a different computer? I know the achievements stay, but do the awards also sync along with your flight time and all that info Thanks Yes, you simply download&install everything back from your GFWL client. Make sure you backup the Career folder from your original install and replace the one that results from the fresh Steam install on your new computer. July 18, 201213 yr Yes it is, but I was referring to the many tittles on promotion today.... Ah, ok. Yes, it's er... sad to see how many games include guns and blood and gore and what not. If you look at the Steam-homepage right now it seems people only want to entertain themselves by killing (virtual) people... BTW Not that I didn't know that, of course, but seeing ALL those games on one page makes me sad.

I was going to post about the rail simulator price here but ya' beat me to it! We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... July 18, 201213 yr With all the success with train simulators I wonder if one of these days we will see "MS TRAINS" for the new MS game tittle... They could start where Train Simulator stopped, which was pretty much the way others followed and brought them success... Then, maybe, we could se some merge of Train and Flight simming in Hawaii, Alsaka, etc... I just emailled ms flight team asking for a DLC for Iberian Peninsula - I want Portugal & Spain for MS FLIGHT, and gliders!!!!! Eheheh! July 18, 201213 yr I don't know if steam is a good thing. The train simulator looks very interesting, I just may have to pick it up.
July 18, 201213 yr Steam sales are a very bad thing... if you prefer to focus your attention on one game at a time like I do.

July 18, 201213 yr Since it was mentioned earlier in the thread, I just noticed Take On Helicopters is one of the current Steam Flash Sales. Good for another 5 hours or so. $16.99 (66% off) Take On Helicopters http://store.steampowered.com/app/65730/ $19.37 (66% off) Take on Helicopters Bundle http://store.steampowered.com/sub/13794/ Woohoo! Finally caught this on sale! Thanks for the heads up. I've wanted to try this out for months now but every time I looked it was $40-50. Now I was able to get two copies for that price, one for me and a friend.
July 18, 201213 yr Steam sales are a very bad thing... if you prefer to focus your attention on one game at a time like I do. Yeah... I just played Train Sim seriously for the first time and I liked it. A lot. Now I've got two games to play... bummer...
July 19, 201213 yr Yes, you simply download&install everything back from your GFWL client. Make sure you backup the Career folder from your original install and replace the one that results from the fresh Steam install on your new computer. Sorry, how do you backup the career folder, where is it located?
