Parked at Gate 2, we will be pushing back to the left, taxiing out to runway 11 via Delta, where we cross the runway, and continue to taxi parallel to the runway on Alpha and hold short at the end. Entering the flightdeck, a wonderful place to be: I decided to have some fun with a new angle in the flightdeck, taken from the First Officers side (whilst she was on the walk around) - you can see the beautiful work that LatinVFR have done to portray Cozumel in all of its Caribbean glory! The wind gently sways the palm trees and there is a scent of salt in the air. Getting fancy with the angles: Flaps 5, taxi light on, Trim set, cabin advised, we commence taxi to runway 11 via Delta. Positive rate of climb, gear up! Overhead the GCM VOR, we continue to Kingston, those wanting to fly to Grand Cayman will need to connect with our sister airline of Cayman Airways this evening. The rolling hills of Jamaica are a sight to see: Once the field is in sight we switch to guns. I mean visual. We switch to a visual approach. After just 1 hour and 40 minutes from pushback in Cozumel, we slow down on runway 12, we floated a little and just missed the high speed exit, rolling out to Echo: Thanks for joining us and we hope to see you again in the near future!
